Hope it was worth losing a lot of respect from the Fins Fans and Organization to get to play in the AFC Championship game. I'm glad he's not going to get a ring with a Jets logo on it.

I respect what the guy did for this organization while he was here, but going to the Jets to try and chase a Championship is just unforgivable IMO.

I'm sure the Jets weren't the only team that would have taken him. And let's be real, the money wasn't a factor in his decision for choosing a team. The guy was a bum this year and played like a chump. So much respect has been lost for him.

I don't mind that he continued to play football after we decided he wasn't necessary here anymore.

I don't even mind that he signed with the jets.

I DO mind that he acted like an arrogant a-hole the whole time.

I'm glad he isn't going to win a ring with the Jets this year, but I would still be fine with him coming back and retiring a phin to join the ranks of ringless wonders with Dan.

I didn't like the fact that he signed with the Jets, but your right the way he acted after doing so is what really got to me. The Gatorade dumping after they beat us, the little cheap shots.

JT was a great player for us and will be in our ring of honor with the next couple of years. Our FO didn't want him here and he choose to play with a team we all hate, but hey, that's his choice.
If the man wants to play, them who are we to tell him no?

That dancing fairy doesn't deserve a Super Bowl. JT sold his Miami legacy to get a ring, and he's walking off empty handed.

Would have killed me to know Taylor won a ring in puke green after being in Miami for so long, nothing personal towards him, however it would really have bothered me.

"The Jets ARE better than you, Taylor played in Miami for 12 yrs and had nothing, one yr with us and he has a ring"

Jt is dead in ny eyes. Last year he said he rather retire than play for jets. Then he had rex bull**** him and signed with the losers. He played like sh*t this year and the last half of year he looked slow, fat and a hair of his former self. Its embarressing watching him run around the field like he never played football before. Good for him. If he gets in ring of honor we all need to boo him heartily.

if Jt had an amazing season and was an important part of their team, i might have been okay with it. At least then he earned it.

But he was a just a useless backup for them who was along for the ride. So no. Hell no.

I don't feel bad for him one bit. Last thing I want is the Jets playing for a SB and winning it. He was/is a Jet...no pity from me.

I am sorry that he wasn't able to even contend for a title with us though. That sucks.

But as for JT the Jet....boofreakinghoo!

I didn't vote, 'cause I don't/didn't really care that much either way. On the Suck-o-meter, seeing the frickin' Jests win a SB would've far outweighed the fact that JT got his ring. But, and on that note, a thought crossed my mind as I was watching the game yesterday. If the Jests had won it all, and JT got his precious ring, every time he would've looked at it, along with all the championship stuff, it would still say Jests. I wounder if he would've ever been truly satisfied or happy with it? :dunno:

Well, no matter, 'cause it didn't happen. And, in all likelihood...it never will.

I can't believe two people so far have said yes. So, I clicked on it, expecting to see that it would be our resident Jests fans... But no, its our own phins fans. What a shame.

I hear ya, and I get how fans of the Dolphins would want to see JT win a Super Bowl. I get it, I really do, he did so much for this team for so many years. Where I dont get it, is that they were ok with seeing him do it with the Jets. Probably the most hated rival that we have. That's the part I can't wrap my head around. Some people would have like to have seen the Jets win the Superbowl so JT could get his ring? Eh... no thanks.

Most every player in NFL history is chasing the Championship. Some chase the money.

How did he sell his legacy? He busted his arse out on the field every week for us fans. He wanted a championship and we didn't want him. Name some other teams that offered him a chance for not only a chance to get a ring, but a contract at all. You're sounding like a fair-weather fan.

He did look very slow this last half of the season. Most of them did. Booing him for what he did here in Miami is silly IMO. He and Zach were the two best players we had while he was here. They both deserve a good send off.

If he signed with any other division, I would be OK with him getting a ring...just not any team in our division.

But the key part of the poll was "with the Jets". I would never like to see the Jets win anything.

We offered him a contract, not once, but twice and he refused both offers. Then when he saw no one was going to give him the money he wanted, he came to us and we had told him we had "moved on" then he had to crawl to the Jets at an offer less than what we had already offered.

What did he get for his arrogance ? The disdain PERMANENTLY of many DolFans. I for one hope he never makes the Ring of Honor.

Taylor's legacy was tarnished long before he went to play for the Jets. He lied and left his team hanging.
He also made comments toward the Dolphins that flat out pissed me off.
We also discovered what I said when he was still here..... He was replaceable.
I can't stand the guy. He can go to hell.
Honoring him as a Dolphins will be a sham. Another dog and pony show.

Disagree, Taylor is the Dolphins "best" defensive player of all time I'll give him that much.

No one else in Dolphins History did it longer or better than Jason Taylor, that includes Zach Thomas.

Meh he was a great player at times but a total me guy.
JT cared only about himself. His play never got us anywhere anyways.
When did he ever have a big game when we really needed it?
I know some fans still love him. I say he can get bent. That is my opinion and I know it pisses people off but that is my stance on Jason Taylor.
Yes I am happy as hell he isn't going to the SB.

Eh, to me all of the losing got to him and he grasped the fact that "if" he was the Miami Dolphins then he should act like it.
