anyone else a fan of this show? I loved season 1, season 2 I did not care for. I hated the filler episodes and they had many of them. But i decided to keep watching and the end of the season 2 and Season 3 is amazing. It came back on tonight and with Lost done i am excited to see how the show ends up. It sucks its on the Friday death slot but we will see what happens.
me and the mizzuz love the show, wish they would quit moving it around.it's a good thing i have to keep up with it on-line or i would've never known they moved it again.their pr dept does a poor job advertising the show.i am starting to not enjoy it as much now that they are concentrating on one particular storyline.john nobles character makes the show for me as im not a big fan of either joshua jackson or anne torv but they have certainly grown into their roles.lance reddick and jasika nicole also turn in great performances.
LOVE this show. Fox is doing its best to kill it, as it has done with every sci-fi program it has ever had. Hope it survives to spite their inherent evil. Anna Torv is awesome in her dual role. Her nuance in each of the two characters makes them distinct and separate. This season, with its alternating weekly focus on each dimension, has reminded me a lot of the 3rd season of Farscape - which I think may be the single greatest season of a TV program ever.
I was intrigued with this show ever season the end of season 1 we saw Olivia in the Twin towers. I was waiting for the other world aspect of the show for a long time and I was really glad they got to that at the end of season 2. I am also a huge believer in 1 little thing can change everything. One of my favorite episodes this season was the one where the guy can predict what would happen. I also love the fact that MLK jr was president, pencils are a thing of the past and the advancement in technology in the other world. I hope fox does not kill this show
Huge fan, although I haven't seen Friday's return episode yet. Fun fact: Joshua Jackson (Peter) was a finalist for the role of Captain Kirk in J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot.
Didn't know that. But now that you bring it to light, Jackson would have been a far better Kirk than whatisnameprettyboy there.
Who wouldn't love this show? Fringe gets better after every episodes and another reason why I like this show is because I'm a big fan of Joshua Jackson. LOL
anybody see the most recent episode? Spoiler Olivia does a horrible impression. I think that might be the moment that screws the show (albeit moving to Friday was the first nail). The whole dual worlds gets confusing... I mean the episode prior, when they went back to the mid 80s, Olivia traveled to the other world at the end, didn't she? Did she come back? I got confused there...
I'm starting to like S3 more & more, esp when they go back to the past & show how things lead to the situation they are in now.
Did you all like the season finale, I'm not sure if I understand everything I saw, so who is not coming back peter or olivia.
Didn't it, though? I'm glad in a way; this has never conformed to any formula and I'm happy to see them take an unexpected direction. Sad, though.
seriously, i was like "did that just happen" thats a huge game changer... and i have no idea how the show will recover from that... I still cant picture the show Spoiler without Peter
Haven't the last two seasons started out kind of slow, even kind of aimless? The Peter storyline should bring things more into focus.
Did they explain how Alternate Broyals is alive? Is it because the whole peter never existed so everything is different?
No, they didn't; which says that you're right, they want us to assume that it is part of the "Peter paradox."
i just hope Jternate is not a Jet fan! Hey who knows, maybe Alternate Dolphins are our version of the patriots!
Fringe Scoop: Peter Returns, But... Spoilers; not too bad, but straight from the cast's mouth. http://www.seattlepi.com/ae/tv/tvguide/article/Fringe-Scoop-Peter-Returns-But-No-One-2207125.php Spoiler [h=1]Fringe Scoop: Peter Returns... But No One Remembers Him![/h]Though the Fringe Division doesn't remember who Peter Bishop is, he still retains his memories of them. "It really is as though he never existed," Lance Reddick says. "So when he shows up claiming all these things and knowing all these things, it's really freaky. Broyles' attitude is that it's possible what he's saying is true, but the last place I'm going to go is to believe him... at least at first..."
If this winds up becoming a bit like (S1 and 2) Sliders for Peter, I'm going to cream myself with squee.
What the hell has happened to Charlie? I know they can use the excuse that since Peter never existed Charlie is no longer in fringe, but i want a better explanation. I liked his character.
Charlie was killed and replaced by a shapeshifter two (?) seasons ago. The shapeshifter was subsequently killed.
I like it but I find it hard to follow the storylines since I am not inclined or have the time to watch all of the episodes in sequence . I have two seasons worth of episodes in my hard drive just in case I find the time to see them.
