Every week Im going to post a segment in relation to past fins. Some of you will remember the guys and some of you are too young to remember when Dolphin football meant something...........

    Today we start with ................................

James Christopher Jensen (born November 14, 1958 in Abington, Pennsylvania)[disambiguation needed] is a former professional American football wide receiver, running back, tight end and quarterback who played for the Miami Dolphins from 1981 to 1992 of the National Football League and for the Miami Hooters of the Arena Football League. He played quarterback for the Boston University Terriers where he compiled a 17-3-1 record as a starter and was named the Offensive Player of the Year in the Yankee Conference as well as All-Conference.

Nicknamed "Crash", he played 12 seasons in Miami where his best years came while teamed with quarterback Dan Marino and legendary coach Don Shula.[1] He was reportedly nicknamed "Crash" by Howard Cosell. As a rookie Jensen, a quarterback was on the kickoff team and obviously caught Cosells eye to be tagged Crash Jensen.

In 1991 up in snowy Chicago Jensen used an old ice fishing trick for the cold. He put cayenne pepper in his shoes to keep his feet warm and it worked. True story.

The Dolphins eventually won the game in OT 16-13.

Gotta love Jim Jensen! He's one of my Top 5 All-Time favorite Dolphins players. Would love to have someone like him on the team now.

Guys these days have such inflated egos that I doubt we'll ever find someone willing to do whatever it takes to stay with a club. Nowadays their agent would tell them there are 31 other teams we can talk to.

I really don't want this to sound harsh, because I like the idea. But if you're going to copy and paste from Wikipedia, you should really give them credit.

Had to be one knuckle head to find something to argue or critizice. Did I take credit? Did I say I was Jensens personal publicist?? Of course I took it off the net. Where would I take it from? And who cares about where I took it? Do you work for Wiki??? NO FIST PUMP FOR YOU!!!

Admin Edit: Actually, you have to give credit for anything that's not your original work.

Not only is it in the Site Rules and required by most organizations (internet or otherwise), but it's also common courtesy.

So keep that in mind before you go knocking one of the site's most ardent supporters and beloved members.

Yeah...I mean, if you wrote something you'd want someone to give you credit...

But Crash was a great one.

I have to say this............I put in this post to entertain. Because I love the Dolphins. I always have. And I enjoy blogging with other Fins Fans. Since I have gotten to this group, it is what I have tried to do. I have only a few weeks here and I have 88 posts. I have worked hard to involve myself in this group.

But I try to start a nice innocent segment. Something fun. And instead of just sticking to the topic and enjoying this thread, I got a bunch of legalist lawyer types worried about where I got a biography instead of just appreciating. It is sooo dis-heartening.

    JUST ENJOY THE POST..............

If you keep it up, Im going to post James Pruitt or Scott Secules next week..........

You not getting what I'm saying.

It's standard protocol on this site and around the net.

It's not about whether you interviewed Jim Jensen or the concept. I love it. The point is that when you copy/paste something from somewhere else, you provide a credit. THAT'S IT.

Simply put, it's a legal issue. Try getting sued and paying out over copyright, then talk to me. Until then, give credit and provide a link. Or write up an original piece yourself. Everybody else does it without issue.

No need for the personal attack. I prefaced what I said by saying, "I like the idea." But when you start by saying

The assumption is that what you're posting is your own material.
