Oh, I know he is, Disnardo did a study on how many yds Henne had to produce a single passing TD, it came out to 230 yds, the nfl avg is about 140 or so, which means Thiggy just in the Patriots game was in line with that avg, henne needed almost 100 more yds of passing to produce the same results.

The two games he played extensively in, Chicago and New England, he was the teams leading rusher as well.

I think it's a good thing. If it fails or succeeds, you have no fingers to point.

It was never explained, but what is the "expanded role in personnel" that Sparano acquired via his 'apology' extension ??
That could be the difference between Ireland having total autonomy over acquisition and not....I don't know because I never saw an explanation of what that expanded role was... This may be window dressing for Tony's sake, I don't know. Also, I'm guessing here that the Tuna must have hedged to Ireland getting this authority, not that now that he's gone it makes a difference. Also, this could be Ross' way of setting the stage for a cleaning of the house next season, after the labor issues, after much of the Tuna stench being gone, etc....
