Personally, I think VY could be the best choice if he shows some maturity from experience in Tennessee. I don't like the idea of reaching for a QB in the 1st round which is what I think Miami would be doing with pick #15. Rather see a play-maker taken.

Can't imagine Vick is going anywhere.

I hear from some people that the Eagles are in love with Kolb. They are in a pretty sticky situation. Kolb is younger and just came out saying he either wants to start or leave. The Eagles asking price for Kolb is going to be way too much, and unless they budge, they won't get anything from him. At the same time, it would be kind of dumb to budge, because of how much he could mean to a franchise, like Philly.

idk what they do here. They can't really keep both Vick and Kolb, but I don't know how they are going to get rid of Kolb for what they want. These are legitimately the only two QBs I would even think about going after this off season, but then again, Kolb is going to be expensive for someone that is coming in to compete for a starting job.

If this front office is set on getting a QB with the 15th pick, the only guy I would want is Locker and even then I think he will be gone by then and I don't want us trading up for him. We need playmakers. We haven't even seen what Henne can really do with a good group of guys around him. I don't see the point in going after QBs hard, unless we get them cheap.

I will tell you one thing, if Vick does somehow become a FA, I am more than positive Ross will tell this front office to go after him hard.

Sign Matt Moore, Move up to draft Gabbert, or stay at 15 and draft Brandon Weedon, or draft Mitch Mustain late.

It looks like Christian Ponder in the 3rd. If they don't get a top flight OG and some speed at RB/WR/KR it really doesn't matter who the QB is.

Chad Henne will be our starting QB next year but we will draft a QB to compete with the Robot. Just my opinion....

More importantly like smahtaz said it doesn't matter if we don't fix our interior o-line problems and get some speed in the running back department.

Chad Henne 2009 was better than Chade Henne 2010
    O-line 2009 was better than O-line 2010

Kolb received an $11 million bonus this year when McNabb was traded and his base salary is only $1.4 million next year. No way Philly trades him unless they receive several high draft picks which Miami doesn't have (and can't be done until the CBA is resolved). No doubt, Philly will do their best to get Vick under contract. Since Vick takes so many hits running the ball, is getting older in age, and gets banged up I don't think there is any way they don't keep both QBs on their roster.

I agree, I think the 15th should be a play-maker. Unless RB is addressed in free agency my guess is we will be taking one in round 1.

How come everyone is talking about all these other college qb's and no one is showing any respect for Ryan Mallet? If we go get a qb (which I doubt happens in the 1st rnd) it should be this guy. He's a beast, both size and play. Dont think I like the team... Im die-hard Lsu... But this guy sure would make a nice lil addition... Just sayin. O, and a no to Vick, a maybe to VY, and a yes to keeping the "ROCKET ARMED ROBOT" LMAO

Mallett isn't helping anyone win next year. He has a 1st round arm & size, but a 4th round everything else. He's a project that needs time to develop. Same with Newton. Same with Locker. Henne will start ahead of these guys next year unless you want to take a few steps backwards in order to try and speed up their development.

Kolb sucks ***.......he is Chad Henne reincarnated. His career QB rating is 73.2. He has 11 TD's and 14 int's. Michael Vick isn't going anywhere. And yes the Eagles got the steal of the century when they got Vick.

You are dead on the money with your assessment of Jake Locker. He was thrown to the wolves in his freshmen year and only completed 47% of his passes. Locker also threw more pics then TD's that year(2007) Locker's 2008 campaign was cut short after he broke his thumb four games into the season. Locker had a good year in 2009. 2,800 yards passing and 21 touchdowns, 11 interceptions. All in all I question where this guy is at and if he would make it in the NFL.....could be one of those things we call a bust. Maybe a 3rd.....no more

I think we should use the #1 overall pick to select Matt Ryan. If we do that, we will be gold.

Is Billy Volek a free agent? He was a hot name a few years back but chose to remain a back-up. Wouldn't mind Miami bringing him in if he's available.

Personally, I think VY could be our worst choice, but only if we're not considering McNabb, then VY is our second worse choice.
How about a QB that can actually throw the ball and read the defense?

Good idea. Maybe we can trade for Michael Turner, Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez, a solid O-Line, and a competent Offensive Coordinator as well.

Id sign Hasselbeck to compete with Henne no doubt. We can win with Hasselbeck.

Kolb and Vick are staying in Philly. They will franchise Vick, and with the way he plays and gets hit..having Kolb is huge.

    Draft Devlin, or Brandon Weeden

Well, as of now, Philly is asking for at least 2 first round picks from what I have heard. Noone will come even close to that. I never said they were trading them. I said that front office loves him and they have a decision to make, between signing Vick (who I would assume would be decently expensive now) and keeping both QBs on the roster, or trading Kolb and trying to get some value out of him, or letting Vick walk.

It's had to imagine they would just let Vick walk and it's hard to imagine they would trade Kolb with how much they like him and how much he could mean to that franchise. It's also hard to imagine they would keep 2 starting QBs that each hold quite a bit of value, for only one to be the starter and the other to be a backup.

lol. You sound like an expert on QBs. Kolb sucks ***, because he has below average stats in 7 career starts.
