There is no basis to this rumor.Elway only said he needs to work on his his mechanics .We all know that .

However he is a winner,he has a good attitude,he is a great leader and inspires his teamates .In short he has those intangibles that are so often mentioned but are hard to pin down.

Is he a franchise QB ? We dont know yet but I would be willing to bet he can be an important part of a winning program.....and yes I would take him over any QB we or the Jets have.

Tebow is a winner. He would easily be better then any QB we currently have on the roster.

Aside from the fact of whether Tebow would be a good fit here or not; anybody who thinks the Denver Broncos are going to part ways with Tebow after the investment they made to get him last year and the promise he demonstrated in the last couple games of the season are just plain crazy, or living in a fantasy football world.

I don't think so. As long as Oakland drafts in front of us, you can forget it. Cam's size and speed have Al Davis refilling his Viagra order.

With all the teams in front of us needing QBs we better hope he has a pretty mediocre game or we'll have no chance barring a trade up. This could be Vince Young all over again if he lights the world on fire tonight. Especially with Luck staying put.

    talented but problematic
a potential project w/ an upside
got a number of QB's in the draft
one will emerge as the right choice
maybe the Raiders will be interested

This is like saying you'd rather die by firing squad than by being run over by a herd of buffalo.

I live in Colorado and have to listen to the Broncos 24/7 and they also get round the clock coverage in the Denver Post. Sorry, but I just don't see Tebow leaving Denver anytime soon. The Broncos have three quarterbacks (Tebow, Orton and Brady Quinn). I don't see Orton being in Denver next year because the Broncos would have to pay Orton around $9 million if he were the backup.

But with the way Tebow played in the last three games I think the Bronco's organization will keep Tebow and Quinn and trade Orton. The Broncos have all kinds of needs, especially on defense and the speculation is they trade Orton for a draft pick. Tebow is by far the most popular player on the Broncos and his jersey is the top selling jersey in the NFL. There would be a fan revolt if they moved him. I really doubt Elway would do this, even if Elway feels he is "not an NFL quarterback." I don't recall Elway saying this.

Im sorry you felt the need to reply to my direct response to another forum member. If you took offense to my comment then so be it. It was tagged to one specific person. As to my arrogance, my origional post was placed prior to Elway backpeddling on his origional statement and beginning damage control. The fact that I posted as I did had more to being called a GAYTOR than anything to do with the article.

The whole intent of my origional post was to get some talk going about our QB situation. It seems that was achieved.
