I don't know I mean it's pretty much exactly what Sparano would probably want. Young doesn't throw all that many picks. If it does happen you draft a RB sign Mankins and you're probably going to roll with that. At least he brings a double threat.

what? you would part with the 15th overall pick for Kyle Orton? Most of the posts Ive read from you on here I tend to agree with. This one is just bizarre IMO.

Yessir, but it won't happen as there are no picks for players trades that can happen now or until the CBA is ironed it.

Orton is:

-29
-3 consecutive seasons of measurable improvement, he was on the upswing when he was traded from the Bears
-is the best starting Qb who may be on the market, new HC in Denver means maybe no Qb moves until they settle in.

There appear to be no quick fixes to this one, maybe VY is an answer, maybe not and we need certainty at the Qb position.

 

The whole point of what I said is Young has none, he gets hurt at the drop of the dime and its everyone's fault but his. He does not work hard and put the time in, heck a very good coach said its me or him, and the owner who loves Young, picked Fisher. It speaks volumes, even more so when you consider the Titian's have nobody at QB.

 

Captain Garbagetime Orton vs. a guy who produces and I mean flat out produces in the clutch? Give me Young.

 

Young has everything around him and is still mediocre. Great run game, good WR's, Stable Oline, Ok coaches.
Henne has good Wr's. Nothing else.

 

Come on Bro, Denver's defense was so putrid Orton was rarely not in garbage time.

 

Also has 4 games per yr against the Jags and Texans, which helps ye olde stat padding.

I am not wild about him, do think he has more balls to go down the field than Henne, he throws a better deep ball as well, Henne is tough..and well..he is tough

 

Pad his stats are terrible when the game is close. Last year it wasn't as bad but still poor. Plus Henne's played tougher competition.

 

And I thought getting Culpepper was a terrible idea. This pretty much takes the cake.

As bad as the prospect of having VY as our QB is, the fact that he is better than Henne just tells us how bad our options at QB are.

 

Well, hmm, offhand I'd agree, the AFCE is tougher than the AFCW, however I do not know the stats or matchups that Orton faced in AFCW defenses.

That simply isn't true. Elway, said that Tebow was a very good football player, but Denver needed to make him a very good Quarterback.

Tebow, is willing to pay that price with his work ethic. Elway, also stated, that whomever the next HC for Denver is, should be prepared to go with Tebow on the roster.

The Tebow to Minni, was mere speculation by Peter King, if Josh McDaniels is hired by Minni, would he attempt to get Tebow there via trade.

If the Phins are entertainting the thought of bringing in Vince Young, I'd much more prefer seeing Tebow over Young. What ever "IT" is, Tebow has it. His first three games as a starter showed progression in each game. He ain't lazy and will dedicate the time and effort to be successful. I like the style of football he brings to the table.

Tebow, only started in the last three games of the season. I believe you are kicking in preseason games he appeared in too. Having said that, his numbers weren't much better than that anyway. But! there wasn't any regression in his games after his first start. I don't follow Denver, but I like Tebow, and follow him. I won't bet against TT.

 

Vince Young is about as reliable as a QB as you are as a "news reporter." Seriously though, he's mentally unstable and could lose his marbles at any moment. I don't want that guy in my huddle in the 4th quarter with the game on the line. Does your "source" on MySpace have any more info on Young. Don't rush to get it, though. I would hate for you two to interrupt your hunt for magic elves in World of Warcraft.
