Ross headed to SF, will offer mega deal to Harbaugh [lots of updates in thread]

Though I dont have concrete PROOF. I DO remember hearing that Tomlin was a surprisingly STRONG interview, every where he went, and was the reason Pitt. hired him.

That only means he was one of 3 choices. We dont know if he was first second or third choice, no matter what order they were interviewed. That could have all come down to who was available to interview, and when.

 

Boy I can't wait to get the stench of Parcells out of this franchise. Now what part in all of this did Parcells play ? Remember he consulted Mr Yorke the 49'ers owner back on Monday was it ? Its interesting how now we are trying to get the man that the 49'ers had targeted. Perhaps this is a backslap at Parcells - this going after who he may have recommended to the 49'ers ??? Is that a posiblity ?

 

If it is, then we are in more trouble than we previously thought. Changing a regime just to spite a former employee would be terrible business on many fronts. I don't think Ross is that sinister towards Parcells as to possibly put his baby in jeopardy.

Well supposedly Leslie Frazer in Minnesota is a result of them. No one had him on any HC lists before he got a chance to interview and now he is the HC at Minnesota.

 

Its unbelievable to me people are criticizing our owner for this..ya'll do remember the coach he inherited was handpicked by his inherited VP that bolted from his dutiesa months after they met..

Every owner has the right to pick the coach that THEY believe in to run their franchise..so get off his back..Harbaugh is a great coach..ya'll should be grateful that he's going after this man..I mean seriously, he was royally screwed when he took over ownership with the whole Parcells cowardly out..

and if you cant see that Harbaugh is special, than I have no idea what your really criticizing..

If we land him...our franchise will be better off..why..because thats what great coaches do, they make franchises better..

 

what LOL!? Wasn't he was the interim after Chilly was fired. Of course he would get interviewed.

 

Because it becomes your reputation. That you let Sparano hang in the wind. Its not considered the right thing to do. People just don't do that in the NFL. And when others look at you & someone else that could be the thing that sways them one way or the other. I am sure the last few days have been very tense in the Sparano household, as well as all of the other coaches. This doesn't just affect Sparano, it possibly will affect every coach in the organization. Also I remember reading the other day, that Harbaugh wanted to bring EVERYONE under the sun with him, if he went to another pro or college job. That is everyone from strength coaches to trainers, the whole kit and kaboodle. That means there are a lot of people at the Davie facility that are on pins & needles, and are in limbo right now. Its not fair to them either. They have no idea if they will be retained or not. If Ross had just let them all go, they would be out seeking positions, that could be gone when they finally do get the boot. That to me is very unfair. Just my way of how I would expect to be treated. Ross has basically told them with his actions he doesn't care about them at all. Bosses should care about their employees to the point of if their employees hate them, and where they work, they may not be getting 100 % from them. Treating people that way can some day come back to bite you in the butt.

 

Well as Sam has let it be known, not all of us would want to see that.

Coaches with any self respect would have done that but Sparano is thinking about getting fired for they can pay him his 3 million.
