Really? How so? It's a business. Same as any other. It's all about turning a profit, playing the futures market, and, raising stock value.
This is from an owner who turns a proud NFL franchise into a celebrity joke and a circus. Nothing surprises me.
Every business does. Have you not been to college? "Stock value" refers to consumers of your product. Happy consumers buy more, unhappy, less. Ross understands how to run a business better than you or me...Unless you are as successful as him... I know I'm not.
This hasn't been a proud franchise since the day Shula left. It's been a joke and an embarrassment since. Quite frankly it's smart business to keep Sparano around. Stupid is firing Sparano....missing out on your 3-4 candidates that you wanted and then being stuck with maybe hiring someone you aren't as confident in as you were with Sparano. Absolutely nothing wrong with keeping a guy and trying to upgrade from him.........hell that is what the coaches/GM's do the players 24-7....why does a coach with 2 losing seasons in a row get better treatment? Especially getting $3 million either way it goes.
every team other than Tennessee that is looking for a coach fired theirs first. you guys are really stretching to see this is normal business practice in the NFL. It most definitely is not.
just because he knows how to run a real estate business doesnt mean he knows how to run a football team. Charles Wang was a brilliant businessman but the New York Islanders have been a joke ever since he bought that team
