Is it me or as long as Belichik and Brady are in NE, we are just playing for 2nd?

Not only did their 2nd stringers and towel boys just smack us around, they have seven of the first 100 picks in the draft. How do we compete with that? Seriously I may start watching soccer.

Jets got to the AFC championship last year because the pats got stomped by the ravens in week 1 if the playoffs. Not saying we should hope for some other team to beat the pats so we can move past them, but the goal is simple. Get to the playoffs, anything can happen from there.

Look at the bright side. They have to retire eventually.

They haven't won a championship in how long?

No doubt in my mind that they have the best HC and QB in the NFL. But by no means do I think they're so good that theres no hope.

The Pats are gonna be sick for another decade, at least. Doesn't mean we can't build up a really great franchise ourselves, though.

The Patriots are in good shape but they are not some indestructible force that can not be stopped. We have a decent base, we need a ****ing quarterback.

Will be interesting to see if the Pats win it all this year. To me, that would elevate Belichick and Brady into rarified air - right there with or ahead of the Walsh/Montana combo; 2nd only to Lombardi/Starr & the Pack.

Especially since BB has virtually rebuilt the entire D and the TE/WR/RB situation.

But, it remains to be seen. However, the Pats D really looks improved over the past 3-4 weeks. Should be an interesting playoff picture.

Ravens and Colts can beat them but no one in the NFC, I don't believe.

You can't. The guy is the best coach of all time with arguably the best QB of all time. Thought I would never say that. After what I saw Brady do to NYJ and then us.....the guy is suburb.

Their drafting hasn't been amazing lately. They'll probably get so-so players with 4-5 of those first draft picks.

But we're sunk until we have a franchise QB.

Bellichek misses on a lot of picks, but he has that luxury with the amount of picks he acquires and that Tom Brady card in his back pocket.

    What a great perspective!

At the end of the 1975 season, the Patriots were coming off a 3--11 season and looking back at six seasons (since 1970) with a cumulative record of 26--58, no playoff appearances and a season best 7--7 in '74.

The Dolphins, on the other hand, were coming off a competitive 10--4 season but also looking back at six seasons with a cumulative regular season record of 67--16--1 (including the historic undefeated season/post-season), five trips to the Playoffs, four Division titles, three trips to the SB and two rings.

What goes around does come around, doesn't it?
