And when Alosi meets with the media today at 2:30 p.m. ET, he fairly should be grilled about why it was that he and five other identically-clad employees were standing foot to foot during an opponents’ punt. We doubt that it was a coincidence. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/12/13/league-should-talk-closer-look-at-alosi-phalanx/
what pissed me off even more about this whole thing is he landed right in front of the trainers and they just stared at him while he rolled on the ground. i think that makes it even worse.
I think it would be a No-no for the trainers to help someone on the other team so quickly unless it looked like a Life Threating injury. They probably first thought "It's only his knee, i better not stir up **** with Rex." Then Rex walked by Nolan, and they seemed to think it was okay to help or was told to. I did see one kneeling beside him before the Phins trainers came by.
I think this might be right. If a player has to be seen by a trainer then they have to be taken out of the next play
They have been doing all year , so that being what it is , that has to mean Rex knew about it and did not stop it , so in effect he endorsed / allowed / coached it to happen as he is the HEAD coach. More to come on this matter , imo.
"our team got caught cheating. you silly gooses and your silly rules, if we had to be on a level playing feild, we'd never win. get over it." you should watch the southpark episode where cartman joins the special olympics. even if you win as a cheater, you still suck and arent as good as anybody esle. deep down you knew that you sucked from the start. thats why you had to cheat. to make up for your short comings. but its ok bro. fold the ruler in half if it makes you feel bigger and better. eventhough you feel like a bigger man, we all think less of you for cheating. and when it comes time to measure up to an official ruler or "play by the rules" why you might just get embarrassed by things like not scoring a TD in 9 consecutive 1/4's. getting beat 45-3, and then losing a 2nd game in row after that one, this time in your own house to a team youve been talking down on all season.
Spoken like a true typical douchebag Jet fan. If it had been the other way around, you'd be screaming your head off. Your sig is proof of that. LeBron is overrated...but if he signed with the Knicks he'd be the greatest player that ever existed, right? It's fans like you that make people want to see the Jets get raped every Sunday.
I always been a bigger Melo fan than a LeBron fan. I didn't miss any of his games when he played for Syracuse. Also, this tripgate BS is being blown up for absolutely nothing. He got tripped. What's the big deal, seriously?
I'll tell you why it's a big deal. Better yet, I'll suggest you find out for yourself. I challenge you and a friend to go out to an open area that allows plenty of room to run . Ask your friend to line up mid way up the field. Now take off running as fast as you can. Make sure you're running full speed as you start to pass in front of your friend. Now let him stick his knee into your thigh right as you run past him. Afterwards you can decide for yourself.... dangerous?....or no big deal?....
Again...spoken like a typical douchebag Jets fan. (And I don't mean ALL Jets fans are douchebags, I mean the typical douchebag ones) Only that type of fan would think that there's nothing wrong with cheating. As for LeBron being overrated, I don't watch basketball so I can't tell you, but it sounds an awful lot like the idiots who say Sidney Crosby is overrated.
Congrats on being the only person on the internet that actually becomes a bigger douchebag with every post you make!
I really don't know what the bigger indictment is for the Jets and their organization. The fact that something like this happened and how lucky they were that Carroll really did not get injured seriously? The fact that BOTH Ryan and Westhoff had NO IDEA that something like this was taking place when one of the players involved has already said this was a common occurence since the first game of the year? Either way the Jets come off looking like buffons...either you had a rogue Coach overstepping his authority on the sideline and orchestrating this right under their noses with NO regard to answering to anyone.....OR the Coaches knew this was taking place and when caught...offered this idiot up for sacrifice. I will state it once again....Westhoff throws it out there that New England does this stuff all the time...he recognizes it right away...YET...he can't seem to see it on his sideline..or during the phase he coaches and is in charge of? Pick your poison...but either way...WHAT AN INCREDIBLE JOKE
Yeah that is almost an admission of guilt. How do you notice other teams doing it but not your own? When you are the special teams coach? How is that even possible?
Spot on boys. One of their TE's already said that they have been doing it all season, so how in the world would Ryan and Westoff have missed it on game tape each week? I mean seriously now.....the screen is higher than his dick. I'll buy that Ryan hasn't seen his dick all season, but I won't buy that he didn't see this crap up on the big screen each and every week. Hell, you know they were even critiquing it.
You sound like a Jets fan who`s team got beat by the divional rival Dolphins in your own back yard a week after getting killed by another division rival the week befor.
The fact that you're even asking that question is scary. A coach was caught cheating in a manner that injured a player. Short of injuring a fan, I can't think of anything that the league should consider a bigger deal.
Believe what you want. It's totally blown up by the media. It also happened again this week. Do you hear anything about it anymore? No, because it is not a big deal.
I believe what is the truth. Its been almost 2 weeks since it happened..we moved on because they got caught...the league got involved...the Jets organization had to get involved again..and the poor moronic SOB of a strength coach got thrown to the wolves by an organization who got caught with its pants down. If the Jets had lost this week...I GUARANTEE you that it still would be an issue. Either way...moving on does not excuse what happened...and how bad it looked for the Jets.
I agree although the Panthers player looked like he did it more on his own than a planned thing..while the Jet thing was a planned thing since the very first game. Either way...should not happen.
Now that we know Rex has a foot fetish how can we NOT blame the tripping incident on him? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
