According to Barry Jackson: "Carroll was so hard on himself for dropping that potential int last Sunday that he drove to the team HQ at 10:30 PM, and sat there alone, watching the play repeatedly." That is special. He'll be watching today's pick from home. I believe we will be hearing more from him.
It's an Infantry term. It roughly means; "You're dead. Get over it. Yur life, if you get to live it, will be humping all over the most god ****ing forsaken landscape of all time. You will have blisters, twisted ankles, and, all whie humping 100 pounds of gear, and, holding a gun. Don't forget, people are trying to kill you. "Embrace the suck. Get used to it. This is your life. This is the Infantry." Get it a little more now?
Kind of strange how many things Carroll was involved in-VG pick, VG KO returns, VERY LUCKY on the TD drop, and then the trip. Welcome to ESPN.
nolan carrol is turning out to be a nice pick up. with the way he is playing, and how much better smith and davis are doing, we probably never should have given up camarillo for sapp. i think i saw sapp make one INT. other than that people have been grabbing catches all over him. with all our teams drops, its hard not to miss camarillo. he didnt outrun everyone or make huge plays but if the ball hit his hands, he caught, even if that meant catching it with his feet. too bad we didnt hang onto him. maybe marshall could have finally learned camarillo's name, then greg could have taught brandon how to hang onto catches.
i hope he drives back to HQ and continues to watch that play against CLE over and over. He still could have won that game. Yes, im bitter, I'll get over it in the offseason. Also Sean Smith should join him. That way there'd be a lot more material.
