That's pretty crazy. But seriously, if a hit that tame led to all of that drama, why on earth would he be 50-50 on coming back. That shoulder will never be strong enough to play a full season, yet alone 1 full game.

The other thing is, why is it we are just now hearing what really happened that day? Why couldn't we have learned it in the postgame presser if not during the game?

he's going to be a miami dolphin in some capacity if this regime stays in tact, he is a high commidity that we need to secure..Him and Tony's relationship is real good...Personally, I hope Dr. Andrews makes his shoulder bionic, and he comes back...I need to see that energy one more time..man I wanted him to play that game..I gurantee we would of blown them out...he was hyped, the team was hyped....sucks.

Chad Pennington is one of the classiest people on this Earth. I don't know him personally but I love this guy, and what he means to the Miami Dolphins. He needs to be resigned, if just to be the 3rd string guy. If he decides to retire, they need to find a place for him in the coaching staff somewhere. I never want him to be with another organization. I want him to remain a Dolphin for the rest of his life.

He is a true role model for kids to look up to. With his work ethic, his grit, determination, and his character. As well as his home life, as a loving husband & father. A true Gentleman !!

I've got the greatest respect for Pennington, appreciate what he has done for the team & would like to see him continue in a coaching capacity but we need to find our franchise QB with no further hindrance. we go nowhere w/o the franchise QB, time to step up in the draft.

what's wrong with jake long's knee? he was mentioned in the injury list in that article with a knee injury and was limited in practice. i know he's been battling a shoulder injury but didn't know anything was wrong with his knee. can anyone elaborate on this?

i've never been a big fan of players coaching right out of retirement.i'm not sure i want penny as a coach in any capacity other than maybe and a big maybe at qb coach.penny is very smart but we really need someone who knows what they are doing at oc.i don't think hiring a guy who has never done it is a good idea for this franchise right now.henne has pretty much had 2 qb coaches working with him in lee and pennington but still isn't improving the way he should be.we need to fix our weak spots on the staff just as much as our players.

    Friend m ino:
I think Pennington could handle QB coach (Lee to OC) with no trouble & eventually challenge for OC
    however
agree your with analysis of the team & hope we can find the missing pieces in the draft & free-agency

    I love Chad Pennington.

He is as class a player as there is in the NFL. The consummate team player and competitor. Such a shame that his career has been wrecked by so many injuries to that shoulder. Wish him the best.

I have always had a man-crush on Penny since he came here, and I still do. I hope he can manage comeback player of the year one more time. But if not, he will be the perfect coach.
