It looks like our game might get flexed to SNF again. It's either us or the KC - Chargers game. I'm starting to hate primetime games!
Depending on how Miami plays the next couple of games, and how and where New York is in the standings, it might make sense. But honestly, San Diego and Kansas City would probably be a bigger draw. Those two offense gunning back and forth would be fun. Especially after the opening night game those two had.
I hope this doesn't happen either. No way Dallas is going to be on SNY. No way. I honestly think it's going to be KC-San Diego, which might determine who wins the West. Kansas City has only been on one prime-time game this season and that was opening week. I won't be shocked if it's this game. However, my guess is Miami @ New York.
Location could play a factor as well. Lot easier for that SNF crew to cross over into Jerz for the game.
Never underestimate the hard-on the broadcast networks have for the Cowboys. If they could somehow insert a Vikings @ Cowboys game into the schedule and put it on Sunday night, they would. And Monday night. And Thursday night.
Yeah, I'll pass on a frigid New York winter. Then again, Sanchez didn't look good last year during those cold games either, so there's always that.
Well Dolphins-Jets could get better ratings, but they already played each other on SNF. KC-SD played on MNF in week 1, so they will probably get to play on sunday night football. If the Fins beat the Browns and Pats beat the Jets the Dolphins would have a chance to come within a game of the Jets, who would have to go to Chicago a week later. It's interesting, but I don't think it will be put onto SNF because it already happened. The games can also be protected by FOX/CBS. I hope they keep our game where it is though, I like 4:15pm games. And I hope it snows! Haven't seen the Dolphins play in a snow game in a while.
Why do you say that? CBS won't want to schedule NYJ and NE against each other if they don't have to maing it more likely that we get flexed to 1:00 pm or to Sunday Night. Is that a CBS doubleheader week?
Your right, I read it wrong, they flexed the Pats game to 4:15 from 1:00, I thought it said the late game. My bad!
This makes me think there is a strong possibility we get flexed into the Sunday night game. If the Pats and Jets are fighting for the division with the Dolphins trying to catch up, why would CBS put those 2 games on at the same time when they could have left it and had a great doubleheader?
God I hope it's not flexed, we stink in primtime. But it's on the road where we're usually good... the unstoppable force meets the immovable object.
I hope it gets flexed to Sunday night. I won't have to pay 50 dollars to see the game at Buffalo Wild Wings or watch it on the internet.
Im actually ok with it. I think this team is hungry to prove to the nation they can be for real. It starts with Cleveland though.
jets will have already played the max amount of times on primetime after the game vs the pats at 5, so i dont believe they can play again on primetime, plus, i dont see them being on primetime 3 straight weeks( vs cincy, at ne, vs mia) the game that makes the most sense is kc at sd. both teams still have options to play on primetime, and it will be a game for the division prob, and it will give everyone a chance to see kc, which is an up and coming team.
Eagles-Cowboys remains the week 14 Sunday night game. Patriots-Bears in week 14 has been moved from 1 PM to 4:15 PM.
They may consider Dallas has been playing better with a new head coach. That and they love them some Jerry.
Like I said, never underestimate the networks’ love for the Cowboys. I’ve never seen anything like it. They aren’t even this territorial over Steelers games, for crying out loud.
You know, I’m looking at the week 14 schedule, and really the only game that deserved to be flexed to Sunday night was Pats at Bears. But the Bears don’t hold up the end of their media fellatio bargain, and so we’re going to watch the next chapter in the Michael Vick Rehabilitation Project and the Jerruh Jones Cowboys. It’s formulaic.
