Whatever analyst said this game is a battle between two AFC teams that will mean nothing in the end pretty much had it spot on. Win or lose this team is not championship caliber. We're still a team that's going to be trying to stay over .500 come the end of the season. The players lack discipline... Which pretty much boils down to Sparano. I don't even get mad anymore when the players screw up I just laugh. Guess I have given up on the season. Sorry guys don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but it sure does seem like same old Dolphins.
For a team that lacks discipline I think we are one of the top teams in the most discipline area. Penalty. That's not the team problem its the conservative play calling. BTW i was talking to Santa Claus and he wanted to give you a early Christmas gift.
Same old Dolphins? What's the same old Dolphins? I wish we were the same old Dolphins. The old Dolphins had DECADES of domination and division winning and deep play-off runs. Undefeated season. Conference Championships. SuperBowls. Hall of Famers. Highest winning % in all of sports for a 30 years span. Same ole Jets is a saying. Same ole Dolphins...well I think I explained myself clearly enough.
Sparano's in over his head. Wether you can admit it or not. We did great Parcell's first year here but as he slowly released control we slowly got worse. We have some pretty good players but these guys have no idea how to use them. They are lost without Parcell's in the booth. It's over, we will be mediocre until we find a coach the players can believe in.
Still feel the same way... Was a nice win against the Raiders and Sparano did inspire some confidence but I can't help but wonder if these guys would not play like that every week if they truly believed in their coach. I still feel like we have the majority of the players we need we just lack the proper coaching. If Sparano get's rid of Henning before next season it will go a long way toward swaying my opinion though.
I don't need any links to surmise what must be going on when the head franchise architect leaves when his job is incomplete and some of the puzzle pieces he put in place have giant question marks over them.
So, he's leaving because the Phins haven't lived up to his expectations? Ok, so how do you explain the Patriots, Jets, and Cowboys? They must have sucked too. Or maybe its a problem with Parcells being an overpayed overhyped washed up bum.
Different roles.... Bill wasn't coach. He wrote his own pass out of here early on. Team sold. The mark is here. Young team with a lot of young talent.
Bill Parcells has accomplished his mission here. He laid the foundation of a winning team and now its up to the young guns to take over and guide this team to the Super Bowl. Thank you Bill for righting the ship, hope your kids make you proud
When did HE actually open his mouth??? doesnt count if bogus friend of a friend heard such and such crap.
We do have some good young players, have always said that, the problem is and has been the coaching. Parcells hired a bunch of his buddies and didn't have the balls to fire them so he bailed out. Parcells didn't fire Pasqualoni Sparano did and the defense immediately got better. If Sparano has the balls to fire Henning maybe we will get somewhere but seeing as he and Henning are golfing buddies and that Sparano is part of the problem himself I just don't see it happening. Think these guys are in it togethor until the end.
Be nice if some of you folks that berated me for posting this ate your crow... I love this team to death and want nothing more than to see them succeed but there comes a point where you gotta admit you were wrong and move on. Hopefully we can right this ship for next year as we have alot of talent on this team if we managed to get Cowher we really wouldn't be that far off.
