Wow, a great finish, what a good game. Kept me standing up! Congrats to Morris for his first win as a Miami qb!
Lamar Miller tore it up as well...it's gonna be a pleasure to watch him for at least the next 2 years. He' got it.
We'll see, would Randy Shannon bench Jacory for Morris? And Stephen Bridgewater may look at it as he should take his talent elsewhere. Glad for the win.
Hopefully RS won't have to make that decision next year But if Morris plays well again next week, I doubt they'll bring back Jacory. Not worth the risk. And it's Teddy Bridgewater btw. He can go somewhere else, I don't think this team needs another MNW QB.
Shannon will be back, Donna Shalalaalalalalalah Likes the graduation rate, and Shannon just signed the extension, and she won't pay anyone better to come in and coach, RS is making 1.7 millie, the guy at TCU is making over 2 million why take a paycut? So we can all celebrate the 96% graduation rate with a nice bottle of water, and maybe some low fat granola bars because that is as good as things are going to get. Besides, what is wrong with Emerald Nut Bowl?
Yep, Shalatwatamus will be remembered as the lady in charge when they tore down the Orange Bowl and we had a football team waist deep in mediocrity.
Berry may be out again Saturday. As much as I love the guy, I don't think we need him. The running back core is that good. It just sucks missing a couple games will probably cost him a 1,000 yard season. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/sports...berry-could-miss-second-straight-1035309.html
The @ GT Stats : on ESPN3 @ 12pm The Hurricanes snapped a four-game losing streak to the Yellow Jackets last season. They're 2-8 at Bobby Dodd Stadium, including a 41-23 loss two years ago. About The : True freshman QB Stephen Morris led an 82-yard winning drive in his first career start for the 'Canes (6-3, 4-2), throwing a 35-yard TD pass to Leonard Hankerson with 37 seconds left to beat Maryland. RB Damien Berry's health remains an issue, so he might sit out for the second consecutive game. DT Josh Holmes (knee) should be back to help the run defense, which ranks 61st nationally (150.7 yards per game). About Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets (5-4, 3-3) lead the nation with 320.6 rushing yards per game. But they'll be without their second-leading rusher, QB Joshua Nesbitt, who broke his arm against the Hokies. Redshirt sophomore Tevin Washington will make his first career start in his place. Anthony Allen (817 yards) leads the rushing attack. Tech ranks 50th in the nation in total defense and 54th in scoring defense. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...l-preview-capsules-1120101112,0,1804834.story
Dominating performance...Morris looked good again, the RB core completely took over from the get-go. And how bout Leonard Hankerson...tied a Miami record for most TD caught in a season with Michael Irvin I believe...congrats!
Great Miami win, beating GT 35-10 in Atlanta. Shannon may not agree with me, but with the way the team played as a whole, I'd leave Morris in for next week as well. He passed for 230 yards, with 1 td and NO interceptions. Defense was outstanding, all the way to the end of the game, stripping the ball for a recovery. Had great team chemistry today. I'm saying it ain't broke, so don't fix it.
Beat me to it, but I was going to ask how many people trust Randy Shannon to make the right decision? <cricket> <cricket>
Miami on the road to Memphis at midnight...Memphis is extremely talented but aren't that experienced. My gut prediction: Memphis 72 Miami 65 Homer prediction: Miami 69 Memphis 65
Really liked what I seen from this Miami basketball team despite losing a close one to #19 memphis. We have a real nice "Big 3" in Durand Scott, Reggie Johnson, and Malcolm Grant.
I didn't see the whole game, but not a bad result considering Miami had 18 turnovers. Scott needs to work on that. And missing 11 FTs hurts. Oh well.
24 hour marathon of college b-ball games. They do it every year. And Miami was the first game of the marathon. It's better than 4 in the morning tho
I guess they're trying to get all of the games out of the way so they can party all weekend. They wish.
Wow. Bishop Daniels has ups. Will be exciting watching him next year.
Wow. I had no idea a "hokey" was a turkey... Here I was thinking it was a mix between a hoagie and a loogie...
VT is off to their typical slow start in the 1st...we're most definitely a 4th quarter team, actually like the way Miami is playing so far...should be a good one.
