you're the type of person that made me almost not accept my jet friend's invite to go to the new meadowlands this coming december. Last time I went I had a full beer hucked at me from a few rows up (luckily it hit my friend), but needless to say I am going to this game assuming I will get attacked, threatened, or something of the like merely for wearing a dolphins jersey. We went to a dodgers-phillies playoff game 2 years ago, I was with a few friends who are phillies fans, and during the 7th inning stretch a guy actually announced to the section he had bought a beer to throw at my friend when the game would end, that he was 'saving it for him'. Sure enough, game ends, beer comes down, but misses and hits a gang member in front of us (not stretching that either, his friend got tossed for flashing gang signs midway through the game). Guy gets pissed, fight breaks out amongst dodger fans and we have to sneak out while my friends hide their jerseys because someone got stabbed in the parking lot a week prior. it's a shame you can't go to a game and expect to just have a good time. i'm all for yelling at people, talking trash, but some people take it way over the line. sound like you're one of em.
thanks for your comments. and while i may advocate rude behavior, violence and stabbings are not in my playbook.
Dude, just enjoy the game. And if you need to get '****ed' up just to enjoy it, then you don't belong there. And this isn't your house where anything goes, there are people around you who are trying to have a good time. They don't need drunken idiots ruining it for them.
whats your play here? you've posted nowhere else on the site, so as far as I can tell you don't really have anything to say about football. You post this "article", which is really just a blog rant, and just 'accept' comments.. are you just enjoying people flipping out about what you wrote? are you trying to get hits on your "blog"? are you actually expecting someone to agree with you? I couldn't even call you a troll because an actual troll would be arguing within the thread as well trying to rile everyone up.. My *** is gunna be decked out in Dolphins stuff going to the Oakland game. As long as you're not a giant prick or sit in the wrong place (black hole) you'll be fine. I went to the Titans game last year in Tennessee. Their fans were very nice to me and my dad. We even had some beers with a couple guys we met there after the game
I'm not defending my actions, merely putting my writing out there and trying to see what people have to say. Thanks all for your comments, good and bad.
