I thought that I saw Patrick Ramsey is being worked out/signed by Miami? I just caught a glimpse on ESPN's scroll bar, but do not know if my eyes deceive me. Could anyone confirm/deny this? I am merely asking and not spreading rumors. I appreciate any insight on this. Thanks!
First I have heard of it, but if true, he is a better option in my eyes than a lot of the other names being bandied about.
So far this is who has been confirmed by the Sun Sentinal. ": No Chris Simms nor any other lefties have worked out yet, I'm told. So only three confirmations so far today: O'Sullivan, Russell and Grady" We have worked out Grady before. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/427749-miami-dolphins-to-work-out-arena-quarterback-tommy-grady
I hate my first post to be negative, but Ramsey makes me nervous. Here's to hoping Thigpen doesn't get injured and Henne gets healthy sooner than expected.
I would like to say there hasn't been a time in the NFL where I wasn't nervous about a 4th quarterback starting
Please oh please Thigpen stay healthy and Henne get well soon! Henne wants to be back this season and is hopeful.
Ramsey is a better option than Russell or any other option that was out there. Going in to week 12 of a season, thinking that you are going to find a stud 4th string QB on the open market just isn't realistic. Ramsey was, at one time, a first round draft pick who looked to be the QB of the future in Washington. Granted it didn't work out, but his arm is still somewhat young and he has been around long enough to help a still young Thigpen out and, if nothing else, provide us someone other than Ronnie or Marshall to throw the ball if called upon. My only other thought would be if Chris Redmond was still around, but I doubt he is.
I guess we finally get our wish, but years later though. Didn't we at one time wanted to give up a 1st for Ramsey back in the day?
Agreed FFII. In fact, I believe we chatted about that very thing on this board yesterday. That said, I reckon this FO don't give a fat rat's a** what us arm chair GM's think, eh?
I remember that when Wanny was here LOL We got denied if I remember right. It was part of the quest to find a betetr option at QB than Jay.
i'm surprised by this as well. guarantee he'd try to get the ball downfield and wouldn't throw a jumpball to hartline. i think hartline is a good WR, but when you have BM, why would a fade/jump-ball go to anyone other than him?
Lord help us has played on more teams in the past 4 years than games played 6 teams versus 4 games played in 4 years
