Injuries aside I think we matchup well with the bears and hopefully we can get out with a win.
Even if wake does not play I think we should have no problem getting pressure on probally the worst offensive line in the nfl.I expect cutler to gives 2 or 3 chances at some picks and hopefully we can take advantage.
Not much film on thigpen which I think will be a huge advantage for us in the passing game especially on a short week.My prediction 30 -17 fins.

I wish Wake could play. But even if he sits out and rest, I too think the Phins pass rush will be getting to their QB.

Bears seemed to be clicking with the pass game yesterday. Cutler will give the DB's some chances for picks, but the problem is our DB's actually catching them.

Devin Hester is back on course as Returner, the guy is explosive once again and a threat to score on every touch.

Darren Rizzi has a real challenge in this game.

I agree, there is no reason we should kick to Hester.

Last year, Section 126 posted some crazy statistic that the home team on Thursday night wins some amazingly high percentage of the time. I feel good about this game*

*Please note that I am merely a fan of the Miami Dolphins and I am not a player. Please do not tell me that we need to take the Bears seriously. We, the fans, do not. They players do.

this will be a good gauge of our coaching staff.with a handfull of players down does this coaching staff have the back-ups ready to play at a high level or will we be man handled because nobody was expecting to play? david lee had all of his guys ready for the titans and rocky played in a few different spots without much loss in production.jerry is going to have to play a full game if carey is healthy enough to go to lt and rocky to rt with murtha being the rotating guy.does reshad jones see more playing time if bell isn't able? i feel like i will be watching the first preseason game of the season again.

    hey Dolphins fans!
Just wanted to stop by and let you guys in on how the Bears are doing this season. Our defense has been winning games for us. Peppers may not have the sack total, but he's always getting pressure and shutting down the run. Our front 7 is probably the best in the league with Tommie Harris, Peppers, Urlacher, and Lance Briggs. Our secondary is the weak spot of the defense. The defensive backs are pretty bad at coverage, but they get picks quite often.
The special teams: Hester is back! He's been looking to break the record for a while now. I don't know how good the Dolphins special teams is, but either way, I wouldn't kick to hester.
On offense Jay Cutler has been servicable this season. He's had some great games, and some pretty bad ones too. It all depends on the o-line. Last week against the Vikings the o-line did the best it did all season. Forte and Chester Taylor haven't been great this year, due to the awful o-line, but they get the long run every so often.
Anyway, good luck this Thursday Bill's fan, let's hope for minimal injuries.

Funny that Miami won their Thursday night game on the road last year too.

Yeah, Hester should do very well against our special teams. They are horrible and our coaches are just stubborn enough to kick it to him to prove a point. Can't say I've seen the Bears play much this year. I expect the unexpected this game. It should be a fun game to watch but neither team has been really consistent. I'd give you some information about our team but we as fans don't really have a hold on the team's identity yet. We know we're a pretty good team, but we just don't know how the team will perform week to week. Our defense can be great but it has it's lapses, same with our offense. Our special teams suck all around except for our kicker LOL.

Well, good luck to you guys as well, and here's to the winner making it and going deep into the playoffs...

Maybe it's just trash talk but I don't think your front seven is the best in the league.

I'd like to see what Miami does as far as what offensive personnel they use. They became very creative down the stretch of the last game, if they can put the right package of players in there to bring some of Chicago's defensive backs onto the field instead of their OLBs, then that's even better. Miami used to use Ronnie Brown and Cobbs in the backfield together fairly often (remember the screen pass in 08 against the Texans to the house?). I think they'll attempt to frustrate the Bears with that kind of stuff. The ability to revert into the Wildcat almost at will with Thigpen as a potential receiver, that kind of stuff.

Yeah, but that defensive front 7 was in the backfield every play, and the Vikings have a good O-line. Farve was getting the crap beat out of him (Which I enjoyed).

Has he already been ruled out? I thought I heard he was gonna be OK. What is/was his injury anyway? I never did hear that.
