I for one have been waiting for him to get his chance and now that he has......

Maybe should have knocked down the INT, but great play from a hungry young player!! This could be a great boost for our defense. If anyone else would like to share their thoughts on Jones.....we'll discuss

On another note I think our team really stepped it up today!! All around

Feeling a little more comfortable with the future after Yeremiah now.

By the way....who had Fasano in their fantasy pool? LOL

Nice to see Reshad Jones show up on defense. I really think he might be a viable long-term replacement to Yeremiah Bell.

Is Jones a FS or SS for us? I though he played FS at Georgia?

Ireland said in his post-draft presser that Jones would start working as a FS, but IIRC he played both at Georgia. IMO, I think for Nolan's defense, Jones' future might be as Yeremiah Bell's replacement at SS.

He looked good out there. Almost came up with a pick. Solid all around.

What are you talking about? Clemons now has 3 forced fumbles on the year. If he ever learns to catch those INT's....he's going to be a hell of a safety.

Jones now has more big plays then Bell does though. Clemons/Jones...possible safety tandem of the future.

He looked great out there on the last series. 3 big plays in a row for him. Bet we're going to see more from him in the future.

I am happy with the play of all of our safeties now that Gibril is long gone.

Hve to agree..."if" Clemons learns to hang on to the ball he can be an elite FS. The guy is always around the ball... BUT that is a huge IF.

100% this. Clemons has been playing some really good fotball outside of missing a few ints that he should have had. And Bell has been good, but definitely a decline from last season. If this game is any indication our safety position could finally be a strength with the combination of Jones and Clemons.

Indeed. As much as I love Y-Bell, his age might be catching up to him.

I think Jones can learn a lot from Bell and others on our team. I say if we are looking towards Clemons/Jones as a tandem in the future, it could be a good thing. I just hope they continue to give him some time on the field. Dude looks hungry to make plays and brings plenty of energy to our defense!!!

Really think our defense can be a BIG force to recon with. All the hungry young players and a few experienced vets are looking to be a good solid unit in for a time to come

Boy did he look great in the 4th qr. His Sack of Young was one of the more exciting plays of the game - we really needed to stop their momentum.

    Hope he keeps it up.

Wish there was footage of his sack and Clemons' hit on Moss. They never seem to keep footage of our good defensive plays.

Edit: Nevermind, someone was nice enough to record it.

Injuries and age are taking a toll on one of my favorite players.

I am hoping Jones keeps up the good work so he can replace Bell.

Would mean something if we could spend a 1st on an OLB next year and not worry about any other position than OLB and maybe a backup NT.

I think they'll keep Henne-possibly Thigpen and get another veteran. Carson Palmer perhaps.

Always want another top pressure player alongside Wake. They're pretty set on defense otherwise. Youth seemingly everywhere. Healthy they're pretty close on offense too.
