Its not very windy I don't think. According to the weather thing on NFL game center, the wind is only 8mph.

Paul, We have a good camera crew today. Count the safeties on each play. We are getting single safety defenses. We will throw deep as long as they play it.

That INT was ALL on Henne. You got to be kidding me if you believe it was on beast. He put that ball WAYYYYYYYYYY over his head. He should have threw a dart right in the numbers, or somewhere close by. That pass was absolutely horrible.

looked like the flags were going pretty good and Carpenter has put all his KO's in the endzone... that is why I was thinking it was a lil stronger.

 

I just hope we keep pushing the ball down the field. We need to do that. The running game has looked like crap today. Not sure if its the schemes or the blocking or the timing of the run. I just seems like you know its a run by the formation about every time. I'm sure if we at home can know its a run, the pro's out there on the field know whats coming.

The 3-1 PA to Marshall was nice to see us take that risk but we know they are going to be coving Marshall no matter what, would have been nice to sneak Fasano out while Marshall took the defense deep. But he what do I know....I'm no Dan Henning.

 

I've got a new feeling about the NFL. You do not know the difficulty of your schedule until the season has concluded. Too many pretenders are gauged upon last years results just as too many chumps are gauged upon the same.

 

Henne and Marshall have not been synch'd this year .... and if they aren't yet - i just don't see it happening this year. they'll need to spend some time together in the offseason to really get on the same page.

Am I mistaken or have we almost completely abandoned going to Polite on 3rd and short. He was automatic last year, but I rarely hear his number called this year.

 

That was a bad pass.

 

Marshall was certainly open. On that route you as a QB either throw towards the middle of the field away from the db or even under throw the ball because the db was ahead and over the top of Marshall.

 

yeah, Marshall is only on pace to catch over 100 passes...
