Pitt, although the NFL erroneously changed that.

He also threw a pair of picks.

Thats like saying: Boy this rock hard dump I am taking is sure better than the liquid fire I shat out the other night, sure my colon is now lacerated but hey, it could be worse.

All out of Shotgun, he cant play under center.

that duck in the endzone was all Henne, the last INT was all Henne, We got WR that made Jay Cutler look like an allstar yet we cant seem to find a way to get him the ball past 10 yards downfield. Personally im sick of it, I wanna see success, The Jets do it with Sanchez, a middle of the road prospect out of college. His development consisted of a playoff berth, 2 playoff wins and an afc championship game appearance. Henne comes out of college a seasoned player, nfl friendly yet we tie the guys hands and leave our offense in the hands of an over the hill Henning. If henne's our guy let him go out and win/lose these games on his arm, our running game has been ****. we got 3 receivers that can definately catch the ball theres no reason to be playing these conservative trash games while other teams blow past us. We play like ball less cocker spaniels taking only what our opponents give us and gracefully tucking our tails between our when defenses buckle down on us.

He threw for 3000+ Yards In 2000. and 20Tds.

He sucked every other year But the year we went to the Playoffs. Those were His Numbers they seem DECENT to me

Bill, Henne shouldn't even be mentioned with those names right now. Yes He's going to to make mistakes but from what I can see he more than not locks onto his receiver without going through his progressions, and good DB's will eat him up. If he can't fix that we need to be looking for another QB

He threw a Pair Of picks WELL SO HAS HENNE.. More then a pair Actually.

So what then we Line Him up Under shotgun Its that simple Lookat Brady aND NE offense all shotgun Formations Practically.

Yes he threw 2 Picks But at least He moved the ball and threw a BEAUTY of a Td pass to bess His first game starting with Us. took Henne a few weeks to do that Last year

(MNF vs jets 56 yarder to Ginn jr.)

Guess what people....QB's throw picks!!!!! That is part of football. Peyton Manning just threw a pick in the 1st quarter of the game right now. How terrible of a QB is he!!! God I don't know why they even play that guy throwing picks and stuff. Get the F over it. The CB made a good play on the ball. Not Henne's fault Hartline was the only reciever that was 10 yards plus down the field. Not Henne's fault that we never throw the ball deep to make CB's respect the fact Henne can go over their heads.

I'm by no means a Henne lover, I try and stay objective. But good lord people, the guy has only started a hand full of games and is still playing pretty respectible. A new offense to showcase his talents would help a ton, but then you have to worry about setting him back by making him learn a whole new offense. So is it better to start a ground zero and start over, or is it better to let Henne try and learn how to master a very unexplosive offense?? Who knows?

I'd rather see them cut the OC, get someone in there who wasn't old when dirt was young, then see what we have with Henne. Henning is not calling plays to let us see what Henne can do. He only calls deep throws deep in desperation, when the defense can see it coming a mile away. Henne is playing with a ball and chain attached to his ankle.

Henne had two bad throws today. The throw to Fasano on 3rd and goal and the last INT.

Although, he seems to be playing very tight. He seems to be squeezing the ball too hard and thus he has some ducks.

This loss has a lot of blame to go around.

Smith should have had a pick-6. Yes, Carpenter has been great this year, but that was a FG he usually makes and is paid millions to do it. The bad throw by Henne to a wide open Fasano. Our entire defense's inability to cover Rice. Henning immediately giving up on the run even though Ronnie was shredding the Ravens "D".

QB's also win games and in all of his handful of starts I have yet seen his take a games and win it. Sanchez wins games, he also loses them but atleast he goes out there week in and week out and leads hes his offense reguardless of how bad he messes up. Henne does nothing but mess up bro I have not seen him carry a game and lead us to victory. Again Sanchez lead the Jests to a championship game with his handful of starts and a pair of mediocre backs. I will not give Henne credit till he owns up to the position and leads that offense.

Carpenter is not paid multi- millions. He is a 3rd year kicker out of Montana that was not even drafted. He is only making a bit more than minimum I would suspect.

Carpenter missing a 46 yard FG is not a problem. Before that he had made 13 in a row. He can miss every once in a while. He is human.

WTF are you talking about? A completion is a completion. Unless these were tips like Ocho last week, then they're good throws.

Henne haters are ******* ******ed. Now they're critiquing his completions too!

Just listening to Troy Drayton on the QAM post game show. He said he just doesn't see that "it" factor in Henne. He doesn't take command of the offense as he saw a Dan Marino, or any other QB he has played with. He said that a team knows when a QB doesn't have his sh*t together, and he thinks this team senses that and doesn't have confidence in Henne.

    That's his take FWIW

2 bad throws !!! the throw just before the duck in the endzone - if he throws a good pass to bess its a td instead bess has to jump for it has no foward progress and gets stopped on the 1. you guys that support henne thats fine but atleast admit when he has a **** game

Oh, well, since he was undrafted he doesn't have to make FG's that drafted kickers do.

I agree with you Bill, I'm not at all happy with Henning and mabey better play calling would help Henne. but defences are having an easy time reading Henne. I have supported Henne since we drafted him, but please watch our passing plays and tell me if you don't see the same problem with Henne looking off his receivers. Hell even Dirty Sanchez does this basic QB skill.

I watched every single snap. He has 5 straight games with an INT. Believe it or not, that's pretty common, especially with young QBs.
I don't like it, but it's part of letting a young player develop. Now only if we had coaches that used our personnel to their strengths instead of playing small ball all the time maybe we'd see better results.

Thats exactly it man, Henne is a Henning drone, whatever grandpa says he does, problem with that is that grandpa isnt on the field and he isnt seeing what your seeing. Henne is has no spark no emotion, he doesnt get pissed he doesnt speak up. The man walks on field takes orders walks off.

There is no response to that...................But then again, when your QB repeatedly makes bad throws whether they are completed or not doesn't bode well for his future as a winning QB. WATCH THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which is almost exactly the Bill Parcells philosophy. It worked once for the Giants, other than that you need something else other than just tough practice.

That's where I go back and say that the coaches hold us back.

We play games to capitalize on the other teams mistakes. However, if they don't make many mistakes it will always be a close game...
And if it's a game in which we make mistakes, we essentially have no chance.

    no I compared the situations

as in EvEN GREAT QB'S aren't perfect and make bad throws

if you couldn't understand that then I'm sorry

I'll spell it out in crayon next time for you

8 TD and 9 INTS is hardly normal

    Flacco - 10 TD , 6 INTs
    Bradford - 11TD , 8 INTS
    Freeman 8 TDs, 3 INTS
    Sanchez - 9 TDs, 4 INTS
    FITZPATRICK (WHO) - 12 TDs, 5 INTs
    Ryan - 12 TD's , 5 INTs
    Stanford - 4 TD's , 1 INT
In fact only 1 "young" qb is performing the same or worse than Henne, his name Alex Smith you know where he is... on the bench with 9 tds and 9 ints.
