Well he wouldn't complain about the food here in Miami. Cuban sandwiches are the best!

He has 1 TD catch. That is awful.
I agree with Hardcore, it`s how he is being used that gets frustrating.

Of course all the speculations ends when the Bills claim him off waivers.

are you guys serious... Do you care that a millionaire disliked food from a caterer??? Seriously.

If there's something you can do to improve your team.... YOU DO IT. Gives two ****s if he liked that pricks food. He's looking for the free advertising we're all giving him at the expense of Moss. Who cares.....

You are joking Mor, tell me you're joking ? To do something like that is beyond NO MANNERS. Its embarassing for Vikings, for the other players who were eating or planned to eat the food, and its just down right WRONG. Think of how uncomfortable others were in that locker room when he did that. That affects team chemistry. I know of at least 2 players who have already come out and talked about it, and how it was one of the most embarassing moments they have ever witnessed. Its being reported that the owner, after hearing about this incident is the one that got rid of Moss.

I'm surprised that such a big deal is being made about Moss and his food.

Thats the problem. IF. Ive seen Moss and he isnt the same player now some ppl think he is. If he takes plays off as a Phin as far as im concerned he can jump ship and i'll do the pushing.

yeah but what do you lose?? A few dollars? It's not like we lose a 3rd round pick. All you lose is money. The potential gains are far bigger than the risks....

Nothing to do with his food. How he completely, publicly embarrassed another human being who did nothing wrong - who, in fact, was seeking to serve him. He didn't have to walk in the room. He should have been blindsided by a teammate for that kind of outburst. A millionaire baby like that - doesn't deserve any decent treatment unless/until he goes back and apologizes.

He's a sick human. We all have our issues, but that kind of humiliation shouts pathetic loser. Makes me that much happier he never won a title with the Pats.

Wow!!! Really.....you are just gonna come in here and call some hard working guy who puts a lot of effort into his business a prick? All that only to be completely disrespected by a rich, arrogant **** sucker like Moss? You seem to have no problem with the way Moss reacted towards this guy. Not saying you should be writing him an apology letter or anything, but what happened to a little mutual respect or morals. You stick up for Moss, but call the poor guy that was humiliated and disrespected a prick.......ok

For all the people that have no problem bringing Moss to Miami after all his tirades, especially one as disrespectful as this food issue. All I have to say is where have your morals gone? What I mean is you really want to have those caliber of players on our team? Despite the signing of Marshall and the whole Merling thing, do you really wish for our FO to continue adding more of these kinds of players to our team? Pretty soon we will be the Cowgirls of the '90's

I'm all for taking chances to better our team but at what expense? This guy is just a piece of trash!!! I wish more of you had stronger feeling towards this kind of behavior and would feel that the last thing we need to is sign players like this. I for one feel like any team that signs Moss after all that has happened over this year and in the past is just basically saying...."we don't care if you are a disrespectful, arrogant, half assed effort, self centered player, that's ok"

I don't think it's ok, signing Moss sends the rest of our team the wrong message! It tells players that they can basically act a fool and embarrass their franchise and it will be OK.

If I ever see Moss in person again I will definitely be letting him know what a complete piece of **** that he is!!! And yes I know he could care less

The caterer of the team that was just EMBARRASSED to throw away a 3rd round on a guy that didnt want to play for a **** coach like Childress is complaining... Surprise. The Vikings are probably his meal ticket. He might get **** on by every player of the team... But look here, one day after Brad Childress makes what might have been the nail in his professional coffin of a decision, the caterer is crying fowl.

    Boo hoo.

Ok.....you obviously have no morals, win at all expenses right? Either way, I think that if other players on the Vikings are calling him out as an arrogant ******* then he most likely is one.

Bottom line is we don't need those kind of ME ONLY players on our team

I understand, but that shows you what kind of person he is. We need positive influences on our team not negative. I'm just disgusted by his lack or respect that's all. Don't want those guys on our team. Bad enough we didn't cut Merling after his disgusting acts

You are all obviously allowed to have your own opinion I just don't agree with the majority of them. Just like the majority probably thinks I'm crazy

    This.
    Thank you.
Yeah because obviously wanting a great player on the team that was rude to a caterer makes him (and me) the worse person on earth. I'm going to take a leap and guess you either work in the service industry or used to for a long time. Anyone in that profession knows that is one of the perks of the job. All jobs have them. Cops run the risk of being shot, fireman can get burned, call center people can get yelled at, and food service people can get treated like ****.

Again, boo hoo. It's his job. was it nice? NO. Do I think we should not go after him because a Viking fan is making noise about how crappy he is? HELL NO.

I'm not against signing him because of the catering thing, but Randy Moss is no longer a great player.

Moss, if he wanted to be, is the best WR playing right now.

Moss and Brown free agents after they turn it on the rest of the season is a really scary thought. Could be an Ireland nightmare.

I'd like to offer my $.02, FWIW. But first, let me preface by saying I'm not now nor have I ever been a Randy Moss fan. Well, the race horse trainer one is OK, but the football player one is a spoiled rotten brat that pouts when things don't go his way. And, that really is the issue here IMHO.

OK, so as I understand it, Randy gets unhappy in NE and starts talking about wanting a change of scenery with his agent. BB, not one to play games, quickly finds a trade partner and makes the deal. A few weeks later, Randy is back in NE, and he's basically homesick. Be careful what you wish for, eh Randy? So, he essentially tanks the game, tells BB afterward "hey, I did that for you because I love you man," or something like that, whispers sweet nothings into Brady's ear, then has a mini melt down in his presser after the game. Chilly says this is more than I bargained for, I already have one drama queen to manage in Old Man Favre, so I'm cutting my losses now and gettin' rid of this head case. Now, every team (or presumably every team) in the league is playing the Randy Moss WW lottery. That 'bout sum it up?

Now, let me play the part of Jeff Ireland for a minute. The player in question has a ton of baggage (al a "I play when I wanna play"), and as such is a cancer just waiting to infect whatever locker room he is currently inhabiting. He's gonna be looking for a long term deal soon, and presumably he'll be looking for top dollar. He'll be 34 in February and no matter how good or great he was in his prime, his skills are on the decline, or will start to decline the minute he signs that contract. All that said, he's also arguably one of the best receivers to ever play, and possess and rare combination of size, speed and strength. His addition to our offense would totally change the way opposing defenses prepare for and play against us. And, if I'm real smart and creative, I can structure a 2-3 year contract that is incentive laden, and also has penalties built in for conduct unbecoming or detrimental to the team. Not only that, if I put a WW claim in for him, I'm blocking two division rivals (one in particular) from getting their hands on him.

    My claim is already in.

I tried this place with some of my friends only because my tool of a boss (Brad) was paying for it. The only thing I could say was: "What the [expletive]? Who ordered this crap? I wouldn't feed this to my dog! You call this a pakora?"

Im not the only one that didnt seem interested, my buddy Brett sat in the corner the whole time texting his girlfriend. I dislike this place so much Im relocating just to get away from it.

Per ESPN: Adam Schefter is reporting that the whole caterer thing was blown out of proportion and that Moss was just angry that no one had informed him that McDonalds was bringing back the McRib

Ah, Mr. JS, this entire "Claim Moss" thing has brought back into focus one's safe prediction about "we won't miss Ginn, we added a #1 Wr, you'll see!"

So, where is this slice of awesomeness?

And Ginn's a #4 WR with a grand total of 5 catches. Didn't even catch a pass this last game.

So no we don't miss Ginn whose only attribute was speed.

Moss however when happy is a TD machine. Hell he's got 5 TD's right now and he's not even trying.

So let him go pout somewhere else, I want to win football games I do not desire to cater to someone who does not want to play the game of football at his best possible level.

Moss has never learned that it is a privilege to play in the NFL, let some other team learn that lesson.

    Wildcat?

Randy Moss has completed 4 of 8 passes for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns, with 1 interception, giving him a 95.8 passer rating

Had to throw that in 95.8 is much better than Ricky's numbers.

Are you saying we could use the production that the 49ers are getting out of him....... or that we currently miss the old Ginn out there stretching the field and making big plays and scoring TD's?

    Yeah, didn't think so.... :shifty:
