Tony, from PTI on ESPN, said that the Miami Dolphins are the most under-rated team in the NFL. WELL SAID, and I agree.
I never agreed with that, in spite of what Tuna says. Think the Pats are the best team in the NFL? I surely do not.
It's true. You do a few things differently and that is where we would stand. Even through the teeth of the sched.
GODDAMNIT! The guy goes out on national TV, with many millions of viewers, and tells everyone that we are the most under-rated team in the game. How can anyone not like that, regardless of what you think of him? Hell, I'm gonna e-mail him, asking him to visit this forum.
Or else both you and he will. The guy is nothing more than a talkinghead. Just happened to be the week for him to stroke Miami this week. It will be somebody else next week. Our record shows exactly how good we are. Above average.
Well we certainly play hard and should be 5-2, so we have that going for us. I look at it this way. If we really are a great team, and are truly underrated .... we have nine more games to show it! Time will tell!
If you could pick an underrated team, who would it be? I didn't actually see the entire context of what he said, but I assume because we've lost to 3 of the top teams in the league, and played them all tough (with the exception of the 2nd half with N.E.), he means we can play anyone in the league and go toe to toe with them. Or he just likes Gloria Estafan. One or the other.
No one expected those teams to do anything so I don't think they can be underrated. Most improved team? It's got to be St. Louis (Oakland and K.C. finish close behind). The Lions though are still only 2-5.
How under-rated can the Dolphins be if someones going on national TV, with many millions of viewers and talking about how good they are?
Reverse one bad call and we're probably 5-2. Had our ST's not laid an egg and we're probably sitting at 6-1, with a one game lead in the division.
The Lions scare the hell out of me, they are much better than 2-5 While we are at it, had Jason Allen kept his footing we'd be 7-0.
Fair point. Last year, I can point to games. Tis season, I can point to plays. That is a big difference.
Tampa has had a very weak schedule. I have to say the Lions are the most improved. Alot of close games and they should be 3-4 and lost Stafford for 5 weeks. After them probably the Rams.
