I never said that there weren't more drops. I wrote that between all of their WR's those three have dropped the most and they each have 4. I think it's very fair to take the top 3 culprits of dropped passes, turn them into catches and see where Sanchez would be after that. He would be at 57%. Not good.

Which stats measure decision making? All of them. And right now they show his decision making to be not that good.

I have a hard time believing that if he posted those stats you wouldn't bring them up.

Did you know that Sanchez has completed 59% or more of his passes in only 4 games...his entire career?

Doesn't matter though...the stats I mean. At least Sanchez looks good when he's not completing passes. That's what matters!

Guys, Chad Henne and Mark Sanchez are both second year starting quarterbacks on rival teams. They will always be compared. Obviously, Dolphins fans will say Henne is better thus far and Jets fans Sanchez.

To me it's simple though. Henne does more, without the talent the Jets have around Sanchez and puts up better numbers in most categories.

Just curious where the decision making "bad to good" threshold is. Sanchez has a 78.8 rating. Henne has an 82.5. Let me guess...80

Well, I've heard that people say an 80 rating is decent.

I just want to be clear. The Jets have more talent at

    RB (LT/Greene vs. Ricky/Ronnie)
    WR (Edwards/Cotchery/Holmes vs. Marshall/Bess/Hartline)
OL (You guys still have Jake Long, right?)
    TE (Keller vs. Fasano)

Is this what you are saying?

So you would say this is an accurante statement?

"Henne does more, without the talent the Jets have around Sanchez and puts up better numbers in most categories"

Honestly, I think Miami has a better #1 receiver and overall the WR's as a unit are basically even. I think the OL is even. I think RB is even. I think we have the edge at TE. If you want to call that "without the talent" Sanchez has, then so be it.

What do you guys think of Eli Manning - the other NY QB? You know he won a SB, was SB MVP in a year where he posted a 73.9 QBR. In fact he was under 80 for his first 4 years in the league.

I think you guys are a little more talented, yes. Not a big disparity though. I like your #2 more than Miami's. And yes, at TE, you guys have a significant advantage IMO.

It should be even, but it's not. Our running game has been awful this season and everything has been put on Henne's shoulders. That's the difference right there. The Jets have a dominant run game, the Dolphins should, but they don't.

I'm not sure I would call 111.3 ypg "awful". Granted it is lower than the Jets 153.4. The Buffalo game really skews that number though. Pull that game out and the Jets are averaging 133.5.

I think Eli Manning is one of the most overrated quarterbacks in the league. Wouldn't get near as much press if his last name wasn't Manning.

Just curious as to your reasoning for this statement. I'm not saying I disagree. Honestly, I've never seen Bradford or Stafford play.

Stafford's 2009 numbers are pretty close to what Sanchez's were. He's only played 2 games this year, so it's hard to analyze. In 2009, both were 53% completion passers. Both threw 20 INT's. Stafford threw one more TD. Stafford was close to Sanchez's yards, but if far less attempts. And obviously, Sanchez was on a much better team.

Bradford is off to a better start than Sanchez had last year. But he is still less that 60% on his completions and is on pace to thow 16 INT's. He's put the ball up 6 more times per game than Sanchez and his YPA is lower (5.7 vs. 6.3). But as I said before, stats only tell part of the story. What is it about these two that make them a no brainer over Sanchez?

Wait, are you using stats to prove that stats don't count?

If the league didn't just give Henne that INT in the Steelers game his QBR is 85. Henne is also completing over 63% of his passes with over 300 more yards passing.

The hell it is. If a defense stuffs a runner all game to the tune of 2 yards per carry, and he finally breaks on off in the waning minutes of the game for 80 yards, you don't say they ran the ball effectively. The average and total are skewed because of the one long run. Am I the only one that sees that? I know I'm not a genius and I am pretty sure you are not an idiot.

The difference between what you wrote and what I wrote is that Henne did not throw the INT, but the Jests average 153.4 yds per game. Unless the league gave them some extra yards?

No he didn't. The pass was clearly incomplete, the refs called it an INT because well, hey they were on a roll while screwing over the Dolphins, no one bothered to review it and it took even the NFL a few days to record it as an INT.

Also, in 2004, the average QBR was 82. This is the highest QBR average ever in the NFL. This year it is lower.

But not lower than 78.

Hey Vinchenzo. 1 catch for 13 yards in the 1st quarter. Some invasion. Time to eat crow. Megatron was MIA. Revis shut him down.

    Really?

    REALLY?

You're f-in team only won because Suh can't kick an PAT and you're calling somebody out?

Good luck the rest of the way Bambam. The Jests are going to be mediocre down the stretch. Perhaps a much better mediocre than our beloved, but mediocre all the same.

Bet you dont see me going on a Jests board calling your team out..even though I probably should:up:

Revis has caught a ton of crap this year and today he played a great game. He held "Megatron" to one catch for 13 yards. And Jennings didn't do squat against him last week either. He caught one pass on all of GB's scoring drives and Revis wasn't covering him on that play. So yeah. I felt it was deserved. Sorry if I pissed you off.
