It became obvious to me today as I watched this game that Henning to just trying different experiments with the offense to see what will work and what will not. He hasn't got a freakin clue. There were some good calls and some bad calls but if Henning has eyes he should see that our biggest gains happened when he let Henne move and there was deception that separated and confused the Linebackers.

Henne is our man if they would use him correctly and get their play calling straight. The offensive identity that Henning is struggling to establish should have happened in Pre-season. I saw a little spark in the guys today that I hope will stick and carry over into Baltimore. Henne struggled a little at first but did a pretty good job today and Henning should have learned something. If he turns the offense loose they score points.

You can't use deception without establishing something first. Even if it doesn't work. Some of the things Henning does, he does to set up a D or establish something. Once you establish one thing, then you use deception and do something else. If you deceive on every play...it's not deception...its called "your offense."

Well put, Shula. You just put words to what I've been feeling as I've followed the Dolphins this season. Eventually, if they plan on making a serious playoff run, they need to solidify a gameplan, rather than experimenting, score some TD's, and take some pressure off a defense that has been carrying their fair share of the load.

Nice, I like this post and think your points are well made. Once they allowed Henne to move around in the pocket he really looked good. It really sparked something. Now it's onto Baltimore and lets win there.
