I'm going to Vegas with my gf this week. I'll have spare time in the days and nights, sometimes for couples stuff, sometimes just me, so it needn't ALL be romantic couples stuff. What stuff can I do on weekdays in Vegas, day and night? Thanks!!! p.s. - staying at Wynn and will have a car
Serious? Gamble, go to a show (cirque du solei), drive to the grand canyon, although that's all day thing. There Is a ****load of things to do in Vegas
Lol. Cool. I'm not into gambling, though I may have the casino teach me Baccarat. Also, not into titty bars anymore. Not til I have a bachelor party or something. I'm going with my GF, yo. lol. Maybe Grand Canyon trip. How long's the drive to Grand Canyon? The good Cirque shows aren;t on weeknights, til Thursday. May do that if I can get selloff tix for $100. Not paying more than that to see it, cuz I don;t care that much about acrobats. I hear "O" is the best one.
Long. LONG. I'd make an overnighter of it, especially this time of year. Don't miss Blue Man Group. Awesome.
i would suggest going to the las vegas library. they have an excellent section on russian philosophers
O is excellent and if you're into the Beatles I would go to the Cirque Beatles show. If you ride a motorcycle you can rent from Eagle Rider and make a day at Red Rock Canyon and the area. If you do buy plenty of frozen water as they suggest (ask me how I know). The also have an F1 track and you can take a class and drive one. I went to the Hoover Dam and it was a really awesome tour if you're into that history man made stuff. If you hike you can go out to Red Rock and again bring plenty of water.
BPk check out Zumanity if you are going with your girl. Good Cirque show. Also when I was there we went to see the phantom of the opera at the venetian. I recommend going to hoover dam its about 30 min out which I thought was cool.
Pool parties. Encore Beach is best one these days. Sometimes I'll spend a few hours in the Spa relaxing before hitting a pool party.
-grand canyon heli trip -sand buggies in the dunes -craps -crique shows are great -eat -craps -sit in the middle of the casino and watch ladies walk by -bet on the dolphins -craps note: there is no such thing as a weekday in Vegas, just go ahead and forget about time when you are there.
At only 30 min away Hoover dam could be cool. Yeah, intrigued by Cirque, if I can get cheap tix. Not paying $175+ a pop for two of us. lol.
Nice. We're at the Wynn and Encore is next door. I called them, but they said no more official pool events this season (not warm enough?). Bummer. Still, temp will be in 80's this week so I may still swing by their pool to hang out in case others do the same. Not sure about mid-week being busy though. And I heard their Spa is cool. Debating whether to do the Wynn spa, or pay the extra for Encore. If I go somewhere else, I hear the Canyon Ranch spa at Venetian (I think?) is amazing. Lots of areas to hang out, make a full day experience of it.
Sand buggies would be hella cool. Of course I'm gonna crap after I eat, I do that at home too. lol @ bet on the Dolphins. Act. I may get them to teach me Baccarat. Not as interested in craps for some reason. I like learning the least common game. lol. Thanks RickyBobby!
seriously do Dune Buggies in the desert. Especially if you have 4 or 6 people going at least. http://www.sunbuggy.net/ very fun stuff, did it with about 12 people (2 per car) for a bachelor party event. wasn't too expensive i dont think
OMG that looks AMAZING! SO MUCH FUN! Watched the video. )) I hope I can go do that!!! lol. Wonder if my gf will be into it??
a little far but might be worth it.. Moonlite BunnyRanch 69 Moonlite Rd. Carson City, NV 89706 1 (775) 246-9901 Fax# (775) 246-9240 i hear Chasey Lain is there now..
lol. Nice... I'll just tell the girlfriend it's a buffet place when we walk in, and when all the sex starts I'll act surprised. lol.
The Wynn is nice - i stayed there last time i was down there. Steve Wynn is an egotistical jack-off though; you have to pay to even breathe in his hotels. Even costs money to set foot in the ferrari dealership in his lobby! (the ferrari dealership local to me has no cover ) I checked out all the "free" shows, lol. carrot top, etc. Some of them were so horrible, but it was free so I was entertained. I did pony up the $$ to see Danny Gann right before he died - and that was a real treat. You can splurge on some good shows there but don't overdo it, it can add up real quick.
isn't it weird seeing someone before ? I saw DJ AM about a month before he died when I was at Rain on my one trip in 09. just odd seeing someone perfectly healthy before you find out they OD'd a month later and poof, gone.
Hoover Dam is a very doable day trip. Mt. Charleston is gorgeous and there is a ski resort there... it is only like 30 minutes away. I don't know if the slopes are open yet, though. Ethel M is a really nice chocolate factory there.
Drunk at tryst a Wynn for womb conference party. Holy shut it's like 3000 wen and 14 guys... And the gf lol. Know what, rhis'll sound stupid but I am so glad I am with her
