That wasn't a defender lifting him to drive his weight down though. He just drove straight through him, head up, shoulder in chest. It was an unlucky but legal shot.
Every play isn't a deep ball with no check down. He runs a modified west coast offense in which the tight end and the tailback are the check downs and the read is deep to short not short to deep with the wide receivers. The decision to throw the ball deep is not on Mark Whipple, its on Jacory Harris. Harris is told that if there is an opening deep, you hit him. If not, go to the Y and the tailback. Nice cheap shot. Doesn't surprise me at all.
To be fair, you have a very extensive history of extreme overreaction. I would expect that the poster who does extensive film work, would be more reasonable over someone who, while knowledgeable, can't be reasonable until well after the fact.
No, it's fine. I'm not an expert, he's right. I'm not an expert at anything nor should I be considered one. Hell, I didn't even accept the badge thing under my user name, I was given it and had to be convinced to take it. I don't make anything of it. My opinion is as good as anyone else's here. However, I still don't think the cheap shot was necessary but it's not something that's surprising.
All "expert" means is a excessive knowledge in a given field, one can be an expert on the construction of soccer balls, or space shuttles, or what have you. There is no age limit on being an expert. As for cheap shots, bro, it's HiDef, what would anyone expect?
