I've been witnessing thing up close and personal. Have to remind all, the Rangers are NOT my favorite team..actually probably 4 or so on the list. D-backs are indeed my all time favorite. Reds are behind them as I grew up watching the Big Red machine Anybody playing the Yankees is 3rd. Yep, Rangers are 4th. Have ALWAYS loved Nolan Ryan. He has done wonders, but probably not as much as "JON" Daniels (Props to those that proved me wrong in another thread), but Ryans presence has helped quite a bit also. So, for those that dont know, this team has gone from not even having an owner at the beginning of the season, went through bankruptcy and court hearings to finally getting a group in VERY late in the season (Ryan is one of the co-owners) lots of injuries along the way, including 3 KEY players in Ian Kinsler, Nelson Cruise and Josh Hamilton, to indeed being in the World Series.
