Trade Ricky, Cobbs, Sean Smith and a 6th rounder for Michael Bush, Zach Miller and Nnamdi Asomugha. A 3rd in 2011 for Haloti Ngata and a 4th for Jeff Saturday. Then we're golden!

There is our "new" Te/Fb/Hback/Special Teams player, Anderson had 12 ST tackles in 09, he tore a MCL in September and I'd think they were waiting for him to heal up before signing him, but I suspect they always planned on signing him. I think Shuler or Mastrud could be hot water as he will be doing jobs they should be doing..so Ireland may not be done yet making moves.
I'm sure Ireland is on the phone with Dallas right now. Wonder who the next Cowgirl to join the team will be.
I agree with this. We do need a TE and LB badly, but doubt we make this deal. I doubt they trade Ronnie. It would be touted a master move if the patsies did a move like this for draft picks, but not us. I wouldn't be so mad about it if Hillard stepped up if it happened. I don't think Ricky would last long making all the running plays.
That wouldn't do us a lot of good this year. I don't see us trading Ronnie. I do think this may be his last year however.

If it happens it would be because we have given up on the season and if that happens we have Petersen to look forward to. I seriously doubt it .
I don't expect a move. Not even a player for player one as that would likely leave us short on another position. We're not deep enough to trade away a player that would net a worthwhile return. If we do trade away a pick, however, then the Ireland suicide watch is in order. We're already a 2nd round pick short in next year's draft and another lost pick - if it's not a 6th or 7th - would likely suggest that Ireland thinks he needs to win now in order to secure his job.
There is a 6th rd pick in the balance for Pat McQuistan, if we finish with a better record than the Cowboys, McQuistan was "free" if the Cowboys have a better record we owe a 6th rd pick for him.
Well..cowpokes are 1-4, we are 3-2, chances are good we keep the pick Vendi. Or..make it a 5th pick if they toss in Martellus Bennett or Sam Hurd...

I remember jerry jones and the whole staff being devasted when Deon hurt his knee..he had flashed big time in his rookie camp and they knew they had a player..hence the distraught.. not sure where he fits here, or how much he's lost since the injury but we'll see.
Rumor here in Dallas is that Marrion Barber could perhaps be had fors 6th rounder, no news of offers as of yet. Just read that Phat Albert could probably be had for a 3rd rounder. Also read Jonathon Stewart could be traded. I would LOVE to see that kid in Miami.

What makes Barber interesting is his time at FB at WI, and he has far fewer carries than the 2k big back carry wall, he is down around 971 for his career and has never taken 300 carries in a season. But his contract is too massive. The guy on the Cowpokes I really did like is Martin Rucker, a Te/Fb/Wr, he was incredibly versatile at MO, and AFAIK, Chase Coffman is still on the Bengals PS and imho he is a better Receiving Prospect than Jeron Mastrud.
