We need to get that 2nd round pick back somehow.
The Pats are loaded and we have none.

The pats are always loaded with picks somehow.

I was actually thinking of how to get this back the other day. I don't see how at the moment.

You could see one get brought back on the day of the Draft, with a possible trade down.

Certainly worked out just FINE for us this year.

    Got Marshall, Odrick and Misi.

I would take that as a 1st and 2nd round pick ANY DAY!!!

It depends on our season and where we pick really. If we end up between 10-20 then its likely we will try another trade down. If we end up below 20 then we may just stand pay and pick.

I don't think we will end up with a top 10 so I won't even speculate.

There is no player on our roster who will realistically garner a second round pick - we would be lucky to get a third for Ronnie, and the window to possibly trade him is closing quickly if that's the plan.

I'll just consider our 2nd rounder to be for Marshall again, and I have a feeling that by years end we'll be thinking it was totally worth it, still.

That said, I'm with others that in the 15-25 range we'd likely try to trade down, unless there is someone there who we reaaaaaaally like. I wouldn't be surprised if we traded to the bottom of the first and took the best guard or nose tackle available at that point. As much as I want us to draft Rahim Moore, S, UCLA, I don't see us reaching for a safety before NT and OG.

Eh, a 2nd rd pick is not a high priority imo, simply draft better with a later rd pick, for example there have been 3 2009 Second rd picks that have been waived, White, Veikune, Brown, and one moved in a give away trade (Alphonso Smith).

There are 12 7th rd picks and 7 UDFA's who made a club and made an impact.

Arian Foster and Jacob Lacey among the UDFA's, Sammie Stroughter and Kevin Ogletree among the 7th rd picks.

I also feel like it may be time to move Ronnie Brown. Ricky Williams is also getting up in years but we wouldn't get anything for him, so maybe move Ronnie for a 2nd rounder, if we could get one. I think a 3rd rounder is more likely. I like DeMarco Murray of Oklahoma if we pursue a running back.

We're not going to get a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Ronnie Brown, especially with him becoming a free agent after this season. He's going to just walk, if anything.

I'd want New England's first 8 picks for Marshall and Long.

On Ronnie Brown, I see no way that we'd get anything much past a 3rd or 4th rounder for him at this stage.
