LOL he got the points back and our 10 billion dollar receiver doesn't get his feet down. Guess it depends on how you look at it. Henne didn't give up a 84 yard TD either.
For my part..... it is in the heat of battle. I realize he actually is still in his second year as starting and learning. After the game I'd buy him a beer win or lose.
Henne is an odd Qb, flashes, regresess, flashes, regresses.. he needs a neck brace to force him to look to the left...
Thats a ridiculous statement considering it was the D that gave up the 7 in one big play when pretty much everyone on the field was confused as to what they should be doing. But ok... I get what you mean, but lets not forget, mistakes happen, and we do have a defense.
I come to this forum for objective opinion, so those of you looking to pin everything but the kitchen sink on Henne, please go over to one of the knucklehead forums. Yeremiah Bell makes a huge error in coverage, giving up the deep middle, which leads to an extremely long TD pass when the Packers were way backed up, but the TD is somehow all on Henne. Marshall fails to drag his left foot (big time receivers make that play more often than not) but somehow getting only a field goal and not a touchdown is all on Henne (mind you, it was Henne that put them in scoring position late in the half with no timeouts). Some of you guys are hilarious.
Maybe he cost them points, but there's no reason for the defense to allow an 84 TD pass on the first play.
Objectively though, maybe a stat monkey point but 2 games in a row a Henne Int has led to a quick TD, the Defense had a portion in it, but it is what it is

I like the play-calling to start the second half. Lots of runs with a few smart passing plays mixed in.
