Why did we just let him walk?, Dont you think he would be at least productive as a starter until a young guy is groomed

Sage Rosenfels? I don't think he'd be doing much better than Lemon, but he is a serviceable backup.

Rosenfels? I always thought he was better than Lemon but you do have to note that the Texans have a very good WR corps and an excellent coach who used to tutor QB's.

    So did Cameron.

Rosenfels should have been kept. Hell, maybe even Frerotte too. But he might have been killed out there with no help.

I always liked Sage. Was wanting us to keep him a few years back.

I've always thought Rosenfels was better than most of the QB's we've had to include Fielder, DC, when we first got him from the redskins, I wanted him to start over Jay... If he could have I think we wouldn't still be looking a franchise qb for a few years..he'd have been that good by now.

    Matt Schaub was struggling......

The league is about performance not who is getting payed more or not. Sage is 3-0 as a starter and I'm sure Kubiak will evaluate both player next season.

All the more reason a nice big go-to WR is a QB's best friend next to LT. We need one.

I liked Sage too. Until I went to the Cleveland game and saw him lay a goose-egg.

Isn't Sage on a 1 year deal? I think he'd great competition for whoever is QB'ing this team.

In my mind rosenfels has always been a winner and had a good heart and was fairly consistent. Potential to be a consistent pro bowler? Never. I dont understand why we got rid of him after we went 9-7 two seasons ago, he was the major reason why we had finished the season so strong that year. Oh well whats done is whats done. Hes with the Texans now and doing a pretty good job, good for him.

Sage is an average back up at best.
