I am sick and tired of coach speak. I am tired of the lip service of "we will right this ship", "we didn't play Miami Dolphins football", we "will fix this". ENOUGH!

We haven't played Miami Dolphins football in almost 30 years. I am sick of hearing this. Lip service time is over. Don't tell me what you are going to do...SHOW ME YOU HAVE DONE IT!

Year after year...week after week...game after game...we hear that special teams are an issue and it will be fixed. We have to get better at this...we will get better at that. Well guess what...WE HAVEN'T!

We are told that we are a running team and we will not change who we are. So why now are we a passing team?

We are told to trust in the staff that they will fix this. We trusted and NOTHING has been done. If anything we have regressed in a lot of areas.

I am just fed up and sick with this crap! I am a realist, not a doom and gloomer. If I think we will win, I will tell you that. I thought we would win last night and we didn't. I will tell you this right now...

    Oct 17 @Green Bay LOSE
    Oct 24 Pittsburgh LOSE
    Oct 31 @Cincinnati WIN
    Nov 7 @Baltimore LOSE
    Nov 14 Tennessee LOSE
    Nov 18 Chicago WIN
    Nov 28 @Oakland WIN
    Dec 5 Cleveland WIN
    Dec 12 @N.Y. Jets LOSE
    Dec 19 Buffalo WIN
    Dec 26 Detroit WIN
    Jan 2 @New England LOSE

That leaves us at 8-8. Cincy...we very well could lose that game. We could very well lose to Chicago as well. Count those as a loss and we are 6-10. We are not better than what I have predicted and changes need to be made right now that will give us our best chance to win in 2 weeks. That means new schemes, new coaches, and putting the players in the best position to make plays. This starts in the front office and ends on the field. Sparano says the fans deserve better than what we saw last night. We have deserved better for over 30 years. Sure we had Dan and Shula...but we have no titles to show for it. We deserved better in those years to have a running game and a D...but when we had one we could never have the other. As loyal fans who spend their hard earned time and money on this product...we deserve a whole hell of a lot more. Give it to us or we find someone else who can.

    Book it!

Maybe the organization should just stop communicating with the media.

If you haven't noticed they aren't exactly the most media friendly already.

Sometimes that isn't a bad idea. It wouldn't be the first time that gag orders were put in place. I realize that they are fined if they don't speak...but stop giving us the generic canned BS! This is the same stuff we have heard time and time again. It hasn't changed...nothing has changed and we are no better than we were in years past.

I am coming up on my 20 year reunion in a couple of weeks. Sadly...that is just about the same timeline in which we last competed in an AFCCG.

I am trying to be optimistic here but maybe we are seeing the worst of this team like the previous 2 years. We lost the first 2 or 3 only to come out fighting and winning some games. Maybe we got 2 wins while we are playing at our worst? Like I said, I am just trying to throw something out there to be optimistic about.

Anyone that is optimistic knows there are problems, but know it's not the end of the world after this loss.

No need to try to ridicule other posters man. The bad ship negativity on these forums seriously needs to put the cannons away.

You say we will get somebody who will, but we have already gone through somebody who will several times. I really think the key to the situation is Ireland and his ability to find good players. Do we wait for the young players to finally get it all together or do we start all over with a new coach and front office and maybe bring in older players to win now?
I know last night was a humiliating loss but we don't have many options right now. We could fire everyone right now and bring in Cowher, Gruden or Marty Schottenheimer but there is no guarentee that they can do a quick fix with immediate results. If we bring in the new coach do we have the patience to stick with them until they turn things around or will we be seeing threads like this with Cowher, Gruden or Schottenheimer's name on it? What would be a reasonable length of time for a rebuild?
