ya man. its ridiculous. but hoenstly, the special teams was a disaster. it ruined momentum, mojo, whatever you wanna call it. tonight was a blood bath, and sadly it could have a trickle down effect on the rest of the team.....all starting because of our inept ST unit

if you watch the replay, they had a camera zoomed out, dansby is on him man to man....and hes watching brady.......letting woodhead run right by him....it was a bad play.
Special teams is a great barometer to measure the effectiveness of an overall coaching staff as well. It's basic football. Teaching assignments, keeping to your responsibilities, tackling skills, hustle, etc. If you have bad special teams play consistently it hints at a much greater problem IMO.
some of the best coaches of all time work on special teams as much, if not more than offense/defense.....why? you have 2 teams evenly matched like you have tonight. who wins? the team with better ST play. who won? exactly.
Yeah and then on a 3rd and 6 they then trot in the Wildcat formation to run. Some really mindboggling things go through Hennings mind at times.

I don't agree with you. You keep saying that in threads but that is not what people were calling for the first 2 games. We were ultra conservative in those games. We need balance. As you can see this offense (Henning) dosen't know what he wants to do. One week were running 70% of the time and the next he's calling passes 70% of the time. I'm telling you the guy is a little twisted.

We screw ourselves over offensively from the start of the game and put ourselves in a bad spot. I dont know how to put it except we were outcoached. We have the talent this year to win that game. The coaching was not there.
I would give Game Balls to Davone Bess, Cameron Wake and Ricky Williams though. They are the only players who came to play. Maybe Fasano and Vontae. But, is it possible to give the Special Teams a flu virus? How about just Bonamego? He better be fired by tomorrow, they need to change SOMETHING on Special Teams and it starts with the coordinator.
dude it is falling...they suck.....they just got f*cking whitewashed on primetime again....simple..they dont have a QB, they dont have any ST, they dont have any RB's.....they have a top 5 WR in the league that they cant figure out how to utilize against a very bad pass defense.... oh and wow TE catches some passes for a 10+ avg...who would have thunk it..?
its called situational playcalling. there are games you have to pass because your running game is taken away and vice versa. when we are forced to pass we run these risks. that is why when our defense is dominating a team and the running game is getting us field position we dont need to pass and frankly shouldnt. run out the clock and play field position. when we are behind like today you have no choice or like against the jets who sold out to stop the run. then we have to put it in his hands and hope he plays safe. but doing that opens us up to these types of nights. henne didnt lose the game for us today, that was entirely the sp tms but this is what happens to 2nd yr QBs. they see things they never saw as rookies and thats why you get sophmore slumps. its better to play conservative while you can and only air it out when its necessary. cuts down on the risk of having games like tonights
