Hopefully Ireland is cleaning out John Bonamego's office right now... this has become a disgrace. Our Special Team units have been an issue for years and it hasn't gotten any better. We don't get return yards. We give up huge return yards. We give up blocked punts. We miss assignments. Our ST units have been nothing but FAIL for a very long time, but the past 2 games have turned on these failures. I am sick to my stomach over this crap!
He better be cleaning out his office. This unit has failed to grow or improve at all in his time here. Its actually gotten worse. Enough is enough already. The special teams has been horrendous. It has been shaky for a long time. There should be more than 7 points on the board for Miami right now though. Dan Henning ONCE AGAIN has ruined promising drives in and near the red zone. How many times will it take for him to be fired? I am sorry but it should have been 17-3 at the half. This is a f*cking joke. Keep on defending Henning though and blaming it on the "execution".
Fact of the matter is, we win last week if not for the game changing blocked punt and the huge returns given up on KO's and punts. Tonight we would now be up 14-6 if not for those 2 HUGE ST blunders. It is killing us...just killing us!

That's 21 points on Bonamego's unit now. He better not have a job tomorrow. Hell, I'd escort him off the field right now in the 4th quarter if I was Sparano. This is the NFL. Bonamego's unit's performance tonight, and all season is completely unacceptable.
There was a thread talking about special teams not too long ago. I'm sold. Fire this mother ****er. At the time I wasn't sold, no more will I be fooled. **** you Bonamego.
While the ST looks real bad, the bigger concern is this team is so erratic and inconsistent in EVERY phase of the game.
So 1st we have the worst playcall in NFL history, and now the worst ST performance in NFL history. If Sparano doesn't fire Bonamego within the next 3 days, he should be fired himself.
2 ints led to six points. Block punt lead to 7 points. Block field goal and touchdown - 7 points. Kickoff return for touchdown lead to 7 points. Add it up those mistakes lead to 27 of the pats points thus far.
i have never seen such a poor display. its like when virginia tech plays some crap team and dominates the game through STs. its just really discouraging. tonight is exactly the reason i sit home rather than meet up with people to watch the game at a sports bar.
This whole team is so uneven..i think they have lost their identity...but the ST are klling them tonight..this should be a close game
Couldn't of came at a worse time for the st coach...bye week gives Miami some time to get someone new in there to get something set up.
