I have a WR/TE slot to fill. Would you play Eddie Royal or Aaron Hernandez?

Unfortunately, I like any TE against Miami. The Pats probably won't get the running game going against us, and Brady is known for spreading it around. Davis will match up well on Moss, so it becomes Welker and the tight ends. I think you can at least count on 4-5 points out of Hernandez.

Tennessee's defense is pretty good and Royal is streaky. Probably another 4 points minimum. Depends who you think will get more touches. I would lean toward Hernandez because he breaks tackles, but it's practically a coin flip.

A nicked up Ray Rice vs the Steelers who have shutdown M.Turner and Chris Johnson, or Steve Smith (NYG) home vs Bears. PPR league?

a nicked up back who loses goal line carries against a great defense?

I would go with Smith there. The Giants will have to throw early and often on the Bears.

It's a tough substitution to make because Rice is a great player, but that's what I would suggest.

Everyone thinks Jackson is going to get light duty, maybe a few points of production unless he somehow gets lucky in a goal line situation. Best is hurt and up against a good defense anyway.

So I would go Forsett and Jackson. They both face crappy defenses. I think it's another situation where you sit the better players in favor of the situations.

wow... just traded away Tom Brady because I thought he'd be wasted on my Bench while I started Michael Vick. This sucks. Looks like my winners league is over with.

You got your QBs backward. Should have traded Vick.

Condolences. See if you can claim Kolb on waivers and use him until Vick comes back.

He's on waivers. Hopefully I'll get him.

I wanted Vick > Brady because he's a fantasy stud. No QB can compete with him... when not in jail/healthy.

Vick was always a risk going forward, though, just based on level of competition.

    Brady is more reliable.

Speaking of QBs… I just realized that my backup QB to Vick is Henne. We’re on a bye next week.

Time to find a QB ASAP. I’m probably not snagging Kolb on waivers since I have the 10th or 11th priority. Favre is a free agent, I should probably go ahead and add him.

One of the guys I traded TB for (MJD) has had a great day for me today. I'm going to need another big day from Marshall and Ronnie Brown to survive this game in the winners league. These two better treat NE like the ****ty defense they're.

I wanted to share my sheer brilliance with the board today. This week I had lot of guys on bye, and my two stars, Ray Rice and Steven Jackson were nicked up. Early reports were the Jackson would get limited work, so I sat him (he proceeded to rack up 12 points). So I patched together a team, not expecting much. So here are the highlights.

    Michael Vick ..... 2 points
    Louis Murphy .... 0 points
    John Carlson ..... 1 point
    Ray Rice ...... 2 points

My leading scorer is Sebastian Janikowski with 6 points. Seriously.

I have 11 total points with 4 players still to go. In four years of playing, I've never scored below 60. I'll be very lucky to manage 35. I'm getting embarrassed.

He did he outperformed my starting rbs, Floyd did a little better, but I won the week anyways. Now i just have to get through the Jermichael Finley injury. I signed Tony Moeaki as a free-agent (14 team league slim pickings) so should i stick with him or try to trade either one of Felix Jone, Michael Bush, Santonio Holmes, Michael Floyd, or Brandon Jackson for a better TE while Finley's hurt?

Can't pick up Donald Lee? You know how awful we are with TEs.

I'd def keep all those guys except Jackson and Holmes.

Edit: nvm, forgot Lee was hurt too. Gresham?

    Pick 3 PPR League:
    Hakeem Nicks @ Det
    Anquan Boldin @ NE
    Brandon Lloyd @ Jets
    Wes Welker @ Bal

Right now I have Nicks Boldin and Lloyd starting.

    Also would you put in
    Peyton Hillis @ pit
    or
    Brandon Jackson @ Mia

Donald Lee is still a good pickup. When he returns from injury he’ll be thrown to the same way Rodgers would throw to Finley. I already had two TEs (Gonzalez, Davis) and snagged Lee anyway. Helps that there’s a TE flex slot.

    Edit: Donald Lee is probable.

Ya but Lee is nowhere near Finley in terms of athleticism or pass-catching.

I think they'll still use a lot of two TE sets and have Lee do a good amount of blocking.

Of course against us he might go for 200 yards.

When Favre was still a Packer, he had no problem tossing to Donald Lee. I think Rodgers will target Lee nearly as often as he targeted Finley, especially with Greg Jennings pulling an Invisible Man yet again.

2 TE set, sure. But I think Lee will be more of a block and release guy.

    Flex position open for.....

    Hillis- banged up vs. Pitt

Lynch- they say he will get carries but who knows

Knox- KR are nice, plus Cutler is back.

Tate- Another kr who could get points in Moss departure.

    Fin-O:
Matchups for Hillis and Lynch are poor. Tate is a total unknown following the Branch trade. I would play Knox. Cutler will throw and throw often.

Here's a late one, would appreciate any thoughts

Percy Harvin (vs Dallas): Had a very nice game last week against an excellent Jets' secondary. Looks healthy, but Favre looks really old.

Hines Ward (vs Cleveland): Ward has had a quiet year, but Big Ben is back against a mediocre defense. Do they let him throw, or do they bring him (and the passing game) back slowly?

Tough call Ward almost always kills Cleveland, but i feel the Browns defense is underated.....

Harvin would be my choice though becuase I think Favre WANTS to develop chemistry with him and the Dallas LB can not cover.

Also Im going with Tate...call it a hunch plus my league rewards individuals for return yards...

So I have the Minnesota D/ST and they have pretty much disappointed all year long. Right now I have my choice of Oakland, Seattle, Cleveland, Tampa Bay (the highest scoring of the FA).

Would you swap out Minny for any of these?

Tampa Bay has a decent schedule going forward. If you’re exasperated and desperate, they’re worth a shot. Great fantasy playoff schedule: week 14 @ WAS, week 15 vs DET, week 16 vs SEA.

You might want to try packaging the Minny DST in a trade, though.

Moreno is coming off a solid game I think the Broncos wanna ride that momentum so they dont have to throw 50 times per game.

    Go Moreno.
