Some of it is yes, I agree. Some of it depends on who is drafted prior, Need wise and fit wise, I think mine is decent.
for the hell of it not including possible trades of course... 1. Dolphins - Chris Long, DE, Virginia 2. Rams - Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU 3. Falcons - Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College 4. Raiders - Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC 5. Chiefs - Jake Long, OT, Michigan 6. Jets - Vernon Gholston, DE, Ohio State 7. Patriots - Leodis McKelvin, DB, Troy 8. Ravens - Jeff Otah, OT, Pittsburgh 9. Bengals - Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida 10. Saints - Mike Jenkins, DB, South Florida
yeah, its very good. may have nailed it. we'll see. i don't agree with vernon at 1, but you may have it right. gutsy call...nice job
Never been a big fan of McFadden... wasn't a huge fan of Bush either... loved Peterson but hey I'm a sooner homer so that's expected
I'm not a Mcfadden fan either. But too many teams in the top ten need a game changing back for him not to be taken. If he doesnt go to Oak, he goes to Jets, or even possibly NE.
I too thought Bush was overhyped...you gotta run between the tackles at this level. I think everyone knew Peterson was gonna be good but my god if he stays healthy you could very well be talking about the best ever! I really havent made up my mind about Mcfadden really....he may have to fall to the right team to be an above average back.
1. Miami Dolphins: Chris Long, DE, Virginia 2. St Louis Rams: Jake Long, OT, Michigan 3. Atlanta Falcons: Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU 4. Oakland Raiders: Vernon Gholston, DE, Ohio State 5. Kansas City Chiefs: Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College 6. New York Jets: Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas 7. New England Patriots: Leodis McKelvin, CB, Troy 8. Baltimore Ravens: Ryan Clady, OT, Boise State 9. Cincinnati Bengals: Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC 10. New Orleans Saints: Mike Jenkins, CB, South Florida
I still think we trade down and wind up with Vernon Gholston... but calling a trade is too gutsy for me.
Possibly, hey it's only a guess it can go any way. I'm just not hearing as much about McFadden as I was pre-draft talk talk. He was initially the guy to have but now the hype seems to have died somewhat and that to me says something. If he does go in the top 10 my guess would be it'll be to the Jets, although I think if they want him they may be hoping to trade down and snag him a few picks later. but I'm no expert
Chris Long Glenn Dorsey Matt Ryan Vernon Gholston Jake Long Darren Mcfadden Leodis McKelvin DRC Sedrick Ellis Mike Jenkins **I reserve the right to change prior to the draft
#1- Miami Dolphins- Jake Long #2- St.Louis Rams- Glenn Dorsey #3- Atlanta Falcons- Brian Brohm (Yes surprise pick) #4- Oakland Raiders- Sedrick Ellis #5- Kansas City Chiefs- Chris Long #6- New York Jets- Vernon Gholston #7- New England Patriots: Trade with Detroit; Detroit selects Matt Ryan #8- Baltimore Ravens- Leodis McKelvin #9- Cincinnati Bengals- Still thinking....will decide later? #10- New Orleans Saints- Not sure yet. Decision later Note: NE selects Jerod Mayo with Detroits traded first rounder.
Oh going to have to shake it up then... 1. Dolphins - Jake Long (doesn't count of course) 2. Rams - Glenn Dorsey 3. Falcons - Matt Ryan 4. Raiders - Sedrick Ellis 5. Chiefs - Ryan Clady 6. Jets - Chris Long 7. Patriots - Leodis McKelvin 8. Ravens - Jeff Otah 9. Bengals - Vernon Gholston 10. Saints - Mike Jenkins
I was seriously thinking that, but then what would they achieve by doing that? It would be like us trading Beck to get Ryan only in their case they'd be trading a proven league leader to replace him with an unproven risk and probably paying around the same money (ok maybe not as much but still a boat load ) My assumption is that they have someone else in mind.
OK so obviously mine has flaws... #1 Miami - Jake Long #5 Kansas City Chiefs - OT. Ryan Clady/ possibly Williams? #7 N.E. - Gholston I think the rest stay the same. With Harvey falling out of the top 10.
1. Dolphins - Matt Ry.....err....Jake Long, OT, Michigan. 2. St Louis Rams: Chris Long, DE, Virginia 3. Atlanta Falcons: Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU 4. Oakland Raiders: Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC 5. Kansas City Chiefs: Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College 6. New York Jets: Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas 7. New England Patriots: Leodis McKelvin, CB, Troy 8. Baltimore Ravens: Ryan Clady, OT, Boise State 9. Cincinnati Bengals: Vernon Gholston, DE, Ohio State 10. New Orleans Saints: Mike Jenkins, CB, South Florida I think trading a proven league leader for an unproven risk with potential is different than trading an unproven and questionable player for a much younger unproven and questionable player.
My point is not a question of value it is that it is pointless. That being said KC taking Chris Long could be a real kick in the nether regions for Oakland
