Lou got his badass card revoked for giving up a sack to JT. he can get it back if he leaves at least one corpse on the field on monday night.
If he were to come to your house, punch you in the throat, pull out your spine through your mouth, would you consider giving him his card back?
Long way to go before its untethered......until then its just SCI-FI fantasy world and not real world.
They just copied what the Japanese already accomplished. Seriously, you think the western world would have done something like this before the Japanese? Also, look what else the Japanese have developed! This is crazy! I don't think it is practical yet, but them Japanese people are crazy when it comes to robotics and advancing technology. Just wait until something like this is integrated into a exoskeleton. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKPVQal851U"]YouTube - Optical Camouflage (Invisible Cloak)[/ame]
Real DREAMS are real....real Science Fiction is real.....long way to go before practical adaptations and more importantly tactical applications in abundance are reality. Skunk Works are just that.....
Eh, slightly different. The Japanese don't have the budget or clientele necessary to drive such R&D, so they are extremely limited in what they do. Cool concept cars with a lot more work required to become reality. The US, on the other hand...... Companies like General Dynamics, Lockheed, etc. have ridiculous budgets and a HUGE customer in good 'ol Uncle Sam. What many don't realize is our country's defense budget, the largest in the world by FAR, is what finances a lot of this R&D. It is really what keeps us innovators in the arena. It's funny, because we can't make a VCR worth a damn - but we can develop flying robots that can kill you (UAV's) "budgeting", indeed.
