Ok dude, when even the announcers are giving him props and you allow a blocked punt and a fumble, yet you want to blame the offensive coordinator when your offense put up what 300+ yards against what is supposed to be a top ranked d? I think maybe you might want to settle down and put your panties back on, maybe go re watch the game.

I guess you could say that we got......canned:shifty:. This pun was brought to you by "Dudes, we're all Dolphins fans". Let us channel our hate toward our opponents and the occasional co-ordinator :shifty:

Can we please stop calling reverses/end-arounds? Ted Ginn was the only guy who could usually even make it back to the LOS, and that was because he was so quick and loved running to the side-line so much.

does Fasano get any blame on that last pass or was it all Henne? I'm just wondering if we had a "true #1" tight end, would he have caught that pass?

If it means Henning is gone you better ****ing believe it. I can't take games like this. This game was so winnable that its frustrating to watch the play calls he makes. Not sure how many games its going to take for you lovers of Henning to understand he is garbage.

Its the same bull**** with him year in and year out not sure how you can keep defending him.

Really its amazing. I wish had the blinders most of you guys had.

No he was not. What pops to mind immediately was a hitch that was underthrown by five yards. A freaking hitch!!!

Check the replays of the balls thrown to Marshall.

Check the passes in the dirt to Fasano.

Dude was good but he leaves me with the same feeling every week. Yeah it's good but Jay Fiedler.............insert whatever you want to say.

I don't know how to respond to someone who would wish this team, who is on top of the division at this point, to lose games....so like i said you win. I'm done with this topic with you. Not being a dick either. We can debate on another day.

I thought it coulda been catchable. It looked to me like it was a little off to the side, but it appear fasano got his hands on it first. Either way, it was a tough play for anyone, QB or WR/TE to make. That ball had to be rocketed in there to get by the defenders, and from that close, its a tough grab for anyone to make I'd think.

Ozman is a serious fan and he took it personally, I hope you two can put it in the rearview as both of you are serious fans and right now things are just heated up after having the ball at the 10 yd line with 2 TO's and a minute left?

You two are like peas and carrots, sorta go together.

As I've said, big picture, Beast and Henne got married tonight.

WTHeck is going on with Ricky W?

Richie I is a slow learner, so is Jason Allen the Jets exposed him tonight, he did bounce back but in such a close game any mistake is magnified.

Yes the box score argument awesome It wouldn't matter if he put up 500 yards we ****ing lost. Can you honestly sit there a ****ing say the times he brought in the WC was the right call? Honestly the WC was brought in when the offense was sputtering and needed a spark. Sure it gets you 4-5 yards on occasion but it down right ****ed us. I'm sorry you don't see that. I'm not changing my stance he is ****ing garbage needs to go.

We need to get TDs NOT FGs.

ANY team in this freaking league will win 95% of the time if the defense holds the teams to 10 pts or less.

    IT HAPPENS.

What we need as an offense that can HOLD ITS OWN when the defense has problems.

Throw out all the stats you want. The offense had nothing but fluff yards and only produced 23 points in a game that turned into a shoot out.

I HAVE TOLD YOU PEOPLE FOR WEEKS that I sure as hell hope when the time comes we could turn it on like some light bulb and SCORE POINTS and as I expected WE DID NOT.

    WE LOST. PERIOD. DONE.

Since HENNE is un freaking touchable on this board then blame Henning all you want. I the end the facts remain that if the defense EVER has a bad game we will LOSE.

    F#$%K:angry:

I don't know... I think the Jets special teams is just that much better, thanks to Westhoff, probably one of the best in the league. Now ours isn't THAT bad... not as bad as the Chargers (who gave up two L. Washington TD's today). I would say we rank somewhere in the late teens to early 20's... Doesn't help when your kicker kicks it out of bounds... can't get it into the endzone when kicking from the 35. On the blocked punt we had two of our special team regulars screw up a punt rush stunt (if you will). That was Culver and Walden... two guys who were here last year. Saw John Conner burying Lex Hilliard tonight... Lex Hilliard, one of our "aces" from last year. It's a common theme whenever we play the Jets... has been for a long time, ever since Westhoff took over up there. Doesn't matter who the players are, apparently. Hand it to their ST coach.

By all means don't change your stance, and yes some of his calls are odd calls. But hey funny thing is none of you complain about a pass on first down when it works, or a run on first down when it works. You just complain about plays when they don't work. I'm sorry you can't see that and want to ramble on and on without taking the whole picture into account.

ST gave them too much field position. The offense's inability to at least run out some more clock because of bad decisions hurt. But the D. The D is my biggest disappointment after I got off my Kill Henning phase. I was so high on them that they let me down hard. We gave up too many opportunities to kill em. 3rd and 10, dropped INT's, busted coverage, bad run support, unable to shed blocks. I mean just wow. I like our chances to have a winning season but there has to be some changes. They looked like they drank their own kool-aid and swam too close to the net. Fresh dolphin is on the Jets lunch menu for tomorrow.

It's the shootout that we would eventually need the quarterback. I'm not much worried about the September shootout. I'm worried about the December shootout.

Jason Allen is going to have chances to make plays all year long because as we've seen through 3 games and in Favre's Press Conference, he is the guy teams are attacking.

Think of all the plays that weren't made--missed tackle on Braylon Edwards' long TD, a gift INT to Langford, a blocked punt that lead to 3 points, goal to go from the 2 yard line and no TD, I mean they were there defensively, offensively, and on Special Teams. They just didn't make the plays.

This just reminded me of..."the inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break of the game, every second. On this team, we fight for that inch...etc etc"

There's no better cure than winning.

I just want to see Misi out there more, and Crowder and Odrick back in the line-up. Baker-Dobbins-Moses...I mean jeez, Quentin Moses in coverage??? Are you kidding me??? SO yeah, lets fix some things, and rattle off a bunch of W's. Jets weren't the only patched up team tonight...and health doesn't even matter regarding this rivalry.

............and that is the entire problem with blaming the play caller.

I'd rather here someone criticize the coaches for not teaching the players to execute than listen to the play calling mess. You could sacrifice 100 coordinators to him but there is no pleasing the play calling guru.

I will say this about the Wildcat. My biggest issue with Henning is that I don't believe we give Ronnie enough touches. With that said, I really feel like they believe the Wildcat is the best way to utilize Ronnie's abilities--his patience, vision, and power. Say what you will about when it's called, how it's used, and it's effectiveness, but I understand the thought process.

I'm just in the mindset that we can find other ways to get Ronnie Brown the ball other than the Wildcat, options that include keeping Chad Henne on the field and under center.

He SHOULD have fired him when he fired Maser and I SAID as much THEN.

But Sparano has clung to Bonamego despite the GARBAGE job he has done here.

Even PRE-SEASON commentators said our STs coach was doing an obviously CRAP job. And these are crap commentators... even they noticed!!!

How does Sparano keep this guy employed at our expense??? Is he a made man by the mob or something???

I think getting down by 14 points changed our mindset in how we usually keep a balanced attack with the run pass mix. Point is, our offense adjusted to the conditions in the game, was able to get back and actually take the lead. Kudos to them. Unfortunately the defense and special teams didn't execute consistently enough.
