Ah I love football time. Not only do we get to watch the Dolphins but at times like this we get to root for our nemesis(es). This weekend is one of those times. I will be rooting for Buffalo this weekend and a Win for the Dolphins over the Jets. Thus giving Miami a 2 Game Lead on the Division! Wow would that be a nice thing for us! Imagine us going into the by with a 2-3 Game lead over our division and the schedule easing up just a bit! LET GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!! We need this WIN IN A BIG WAY! PS. GOOOOOOOOOOO BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i will be cheering for buffalo like never before! The AFC East is always good for a couple of upsets!
Yeah, I'm not going to cheer for buffalo... But I will cheer for New England losing. That's a no brainer
I've called big upsets like this before on intuition - last year's Buff over Jets is the last I remember. Don't think its going to happen this time.
Ha, it would be great for the Bills to pull off the upset, but they would have to actually score some points to do that.
I have a better odds of winning the lottery without buying a ticket, than the Bills have a chance to win on sunday.
Bingo. Not happening. Buffalo is the worst team in the league. NE is going to beat them like a rented mule.
IF, and thats a HUGE IF New England would of blew Jets out of the water...then maybe....maybe they would of had a tiny chance then. But they are comming off a loss to division rival....not gonna happen.
Same thing was said when Sanchez was picked off 6 times by the Bills in a Jets loss. Fitzy WILL throw the ball deep to Lee Evans and is much more mobile than Trent Edwards. The Bills are a different team with Fitzpatrick at Qb, not guaranteeing a Bills win, as the Pastriots have a long streak against the Bills, I am saying I would not be surprised if they did win.
Comparing Sanchez in his rookie year to Brady......you're joking right? Maybe Buffalo will play better with Fitzpatrick. Check that - they will definitely play better with Fitzpatrick because it is impossible to play worse than they have. But there is no way they are beating NE who is coming off a divisional loss. Lock that up.
Well, I've said this all offseason, this is not the same "Patriots" team that used to own the AFCE, this version is more "Pastriots", meaning the wheels haven't come off, but a couple of tires are really low on air pressure. For example: Randy Moss has as many drops in 2 games in 2010, as he had in 16 games in 09. -No running game to speak of, no offence to Sammie Morris, but 2 over 30 yr old running backs coming off of recent leg injuries aren't scaring anyone. -Kevin Faulk was huge for the Patriots, he is gone for the year -No passrusher to speak of -Db's getting burned on the regular -Cheapriots refuse to pay All Pro Guard Logan Mankins so their Oline is degraded. The 2010 Pastriots boils down to a good passing offence..and that is about it. The Bills have a good secondary and SHOULD be able to run the ball on the Pastriots..two key ingredients that are needed to beat a passing team, toss in Special Teams superiority and who knows? Parrish and Evans could have good games vs a craptacular Pastriots secondary.
And I am not disagreeing. With that being said...That teams is not the same team that won 3 out of 4 and so on and so forth....but they still have Bellicheck, and they still have Brady. Untill one of them leaves, they will still the be Patriots. NO WAY they lose that game, especially after a loss...to the jets none the less.
Wow! You should call the Bills and tell them not to even show up! Watch..Bills cover the point spread at least.
14.5 with 42.5 total points being scored. With a 8:20 pm start this Sunday, this will be my game to watch Sunday Afternoon.
Sunday afternoon we will be in line at the SunLife stadium waiting on gates to open to start the grill With that being said...no. Bills wont cover that spread, imo, and I would take under the total.
1 pm game..you could watch the first half... The next 6 games are pretty much our season, but the great thing is the Jest and Pastriots also have to play most of those same teams.
I live roughly 2 hrs away. And we are planning on getting there early. lol We will take about at about the time the game will start.
I'm curious Mark, do you bring a radio or use a phone app to keep up with the scores of games while tail gating?
Whitner is fired up after the Packers' players called them a joke: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...itner-ahead-of-pats-clash?module=HP_headlines
I like Baltimore and Pitt in a nasty low scoring game...their styles clash well with ours. GB will be the toughest game on that list (just do not tell Ray I said that). Cinci is beatable if they screw around like they did with NE. Edit: My bad for the double post.
TBH, the switch to the 3-4 has been a disaster as they do not have the Lb corps to play it, if they really wanted to win, they would switch between the 3-4/4-3 throughout the game. Just put Aaron Maybin on Matt Light at RDE and have him pin his ears back as the Pastriots Running Backs are just to darn slow to do too much damage running underneath him.
I think Buffalo has more of a shot than people give them credit for. Ryan Fitzpatrick is notably superior to Edwards in my opinion, and if the Bills defense can for a turnover or two without giving up too many big plays they have a shot. They lost to the Pats last year by only 1 point and 7 points. Gotta watch out for the Patriots rookie TE's, last week Jermichael Finley shredded the Bills D.
I'm sure I'm in the massive minority here, but the Bills usually upset someone in the AFC East each year and they're really not as bad as everyone makes them out to be. NE doesn't have much of a secondary and I really think Buffalo has a chance to pull off a massive upset this week. Of course I wouldn't bet money on it...but I have a feeling that they'll play better this week than they have in awhile.

Yep, once or twice a yr, the Bills surprise someone in the AFCE, but that is normally at home in the insane cold of Buffalo. What I like in this matchup: Bills poor Oline vs Pats poor passrush Bills speed in Parrish and Evans vs Suspect Pats secondary Qb switch can spark a team for a couple of games Bills with superior Special Teams. The real flaw for the Bills is they also have very little in the way of a passrush.
WOW what was I thinking! How the hell did we get such a tough schedule without winning the division or superbowl I mean come on seems we have had a tough schedule the last few years when our record really wasnt warranting one.
I never cheer for rivals, unless it is advantageous for the Fins. Go Bills, let CJ Spiller be the one this sunday
lol yeah! like i did with the jets this past week. it's a rarity, but when it comes to the standings, you gotta do what you gotta do.
