I think the guy is the real deal. The guy has an arm, accuracy , poise and young... I know Becks hasn't been given a chance but Derek right now is lights years ahead of Beck...

Anderson isn't going anywhere. We have a better chance of trading for Brady Quinn. Then we can all see him suck in a Dolphins uniform

And that is why we won't be able to afford him. If they tender him with a first round pick, we should be the last team to pay it.

The Browns would be stupid to let Anderson go.

Most definitely would not pay the 1st and 3rd round tender that would likely be on Anderson.

I see a trend. Before the season, derek was not anything special. Jamal had been struggling. Now all of a sudden the O Line is playing great and now anderson looks like a stud. I believe in Beck, our o line has got to give him time. Derek comes to miami, he'll be just as good as green, lemon, beck. We need to strenghten our o line man. go get some fa's overpay if you have too.

as an RFA we would have to give up a 2 rounder probably and i dont want to give up another draft pick for a QB. plus look at our line compared to cleveland. anderson has time to throw the ball. he would look bad behind our line just like beck. in this draft we have to beef up our line for miami to do anything next year. a 2nd round OT is the way to go along with a later round OG.

no we have 1 first rounder. everyone calls the 1st 2nd rounder a 1st just cuz the is only 31 picks in the first due to pats losing there first, so it is kind of like we move up from 33 to 32 into the first round but it is still considered as a 2nd rounder (same value as 33 pick)

If Anderson comes, I hope he also brings Braylon, Winslow, Jurevicius, Joe Thomas, and Eric Steinbach with him. Because without those playmakers, he's average.

That is the ONLY way we are ever going to have a good QB. It all starts up front. I wish more people understood this basic principal. It is the end of the line for any questions about a good offense. You will NOT have a good RB, a good QB, or a good passing game without the big guys up front doing their jobs better than the big guys up front for the other team. Football 101 folks.

Draft an O line for Beck.

Couldn't agree more. In fact your boy AJ might still be starting for us had Wanny and Speilman been smart enough to realize that.

He looks terrible in Philly huh?...

Still throws too many INTs but, he's got a great arm, always has.

And how about my boy Rick Spielman drafting the rookie of the year, Adrian Peterson....and then coming up with Sydney Rice too....not bad not bad at all..

Anderson stays in Cleveland, esp. if they get in the playoffs.

Why would Cleveland trade Anderson when they have no clue what they have in Quinn.
I agree with most that you need a strong O-line or it doesnt matter who is playing QB.

bring Tom Brady or Peyton Manning to Miami....and see just how they do....theyll probably get hurt in the first game after being sacked 6 times.

Exactly, kinda like buy one get 5 free deal. Lucky guy is going to make a hole bunch of money soon, not that he is starving by any means right now.

yup, and to your other post. People are quite happy with old Spielman up here in Minne. Rice has turned into quite a gem in his rook season. They had a great draft and funny how old RS managed that eh?

Of course, Brady would bring the refs over so even if he gets sacked 6 times, it'll probably be 6 beneficial penalties called in our favor.

Rick only had one opportunity at being GM. He wasn't bad at all. You guys are quick to forget that Wans had full control. I remember how Rick wanted Boldin over Wanny "special team linebacker"...

True... I've been saying the samething since Fiedler era but honestly the line hasn't been all that bad. Their last game was horrible but they haven't all that bad. We have no play makers at WR. nly play maker we had on offense is hurt so no surprise our offense stinks so much. Honestly, we shouldn't be so harsh on Beck because of the lack of weapons.

I know there were only two or three of us at the end that were still adamant that Rick Speilman wasn't the problem here, and that he was basically forced to make the moves he did in his only season at the helm but, it was too late, there was blood in the water and the frenzy devoured everyone.

This bloodlust for Mueller and Cameron feels all too familiar.

There is no way anyone can tell me that it's not deserved. I would say if we were 4-12 or 3-13 or 5-11 it would be rebuilding but 0-16 goes beyond rebuilding. The NFL is too competitive to not win at least a couple of games a year. Even Rich Kotite won a game in NFL and he's by far one of the worst coaches i have ever seen.
