What a bunch of clowns.. But I respect them for not giving a crap and looking like fools.. I'm sure they had a blast making this video..
My best guess is its a christian youth group, with lyrics, er dialog that had to pass mustard with the pastor. I could be mistaken, given the lack of any crucifix adorned wall, ceiling, desk, or neckless, but despite their apparent, in-bred potential, don't exactly fit the bill as mentally challenged, and in such case, "game on".
OK, good stuff... I'm ready for the Maniphesto and some Con! Con, where yah been??? I even made sure not to use your tag line in my game preview...
Who would've thought you could play the drums without hitting them and play guitar without strumming the chords at the top of the guitar. If only the chicks in the video were hot......
Sure he has..........with the beasts in the video with him. That was actually from the game, they exist in it.
Some of you guys are being way too easy on this guy. People who wanna put their work up on YouTube to be judged deserve any criticism they get. Especially when they choose to make some lame *** awkward attempt at trashing our Miami Dolphins.
For those of you who haven't been able to make it past 30 seconds of this video, do yourself a favor and fast forward to the 3:03 mark. Not sure what that dance is, but it reminds me of this -
Wow, there's a whole archive of this crap, I mean comedy gold - YouTube - VIKINGS MUSIC VIDEO: 2009 Playoffs: Minnesota Vikings vs Dallas Cowboys - End of Their World
I love it! I do have a blast making them, and yes I make them every week, and yes I think there should be an official post dedicated to me.... ... but no, none of them are my daughters... I'm not old enough to have kids that old. In fact I don't have any kids. Everyone in the video is over the age of 20, and I am only 31. My wife is in the video, but she's not the one you all think it is. Trust me... I know that I married WAY UP. That's not something that I feel bad about at all.
WOW, man... The funniest part is the songs you choose. I would typically think of a tougher song to relate to football, not R.E.M. and whoever that awful 90's alternative band was! I'm thinking Run To the Hills by Iron Maiden or something, LMBO!! Welcome to the Phins.com, don't worry we're a classy bunch here... We won't get too class-less on yah! I hope! This here place is for football though so whatcha' got?
Well, three comments about the songs I choose... 1). I grew up in the 90s, and was a big fan of grunge and alternative rock... that's going to influence my choices a little bit. 2). This is the 21st football song I've done a parody video for... it's not real easy sometimes picking a song that the words will fit. 3). Okay, I'll admit... I couldn't play the parts to record an Iron Maiden song. I did do a Metallica song last year, but I left out the guitar solo. :-) But really, I'm just a fan and a blogger who loves playing music and loves doing off the wall things. I love me some Vikings football, and I don't think doing something crazy like this is any different than going to a football stadium dressed up in a goofy outfit to cheer on a team.... fans do dumb things to support their team, and I'm one of them. As I was telling my new pal Monstblitz on Youtube... I don't mind people giving me a hard time because I can't sing or whatever... but really I am much more interested in talking football. A little trash talking between fans can be fun every now and then. It is pretty funny, though, when a fan's idea of trashtalking has to turn into "The Vikings suck cuz the girls in your video are fat". To me, that pretty much means your team doesn't have much to brag about. I have read some of the other posts on here, though, and I like the insight most of you seem to have on the team. There's a post on here breaking down what the Dolphins need to do against the Vikings that I found really interesting. Keep it up. And oh... yes, I know I could stand to lose a pound or two.
31? The years have not been kind my friend. Anyway, welcome to the site. I know I've been pretty ruthless in your YouTube comments, but when you come here in peace to talk football, I've got nothing rude to say. Except for everything I've posted in this thread
Eh... Despite weighing nearly 750 pounds I feel healthy, and if I had to choose between the two, I'd much rather feel young than look young.
Question for you: Do you forget to tuck in your undershirt when you wardrobe change into the Vikings polo on purpose? Also, how do you do that awesome effect where you make yourself camouflage in with the green screen background? I have so much to learn from you.
I'm not gonna lie... when I had spent time shooting without realizing that the front of my shirt came untucked, then I saw the clips later, I was upset... but when you're filming on borrowed time from other volunteers, you can't really call for a reshoot. Yep, the untucked shirt will show up in other videos. As for the green screen stuff... you may think it's cheap looking... but guess what... It's because it was CHEAP. I spent a TOTAL of $45 on video props. That includes plastic helmets for most of the NFL teams, a few shirts for other teams at a good will, some green fabric and some cheap lights for my green screen. Everything else was stuff that I already had, including my jerseys, the musical equipment, and the video equipment. So far from that $45 I've posted 21 different music videos with AT LEAST 15 more to go for this year. Even if the Vikings don't make the playoffs this year and I decide to never do any more videos in the future, my total budget came to $1.25 per video. So all in all, as cheap and corny as they look, I'm pretty happy with the way a music video comes out when it costs less than $2 to produce it. Plus, it's been a learning experience. Before last year I never wrote parody lryics, I didn't spend much time learning song covers, and I had never filmed or edited a video. The people that are in them enjoy goofing off for the Vikings, and if I wasn't working on something like this I'd be working on some other meaningless music that nobody will ever hear (since that's what I like doing with my time), so it's not like doing these videos was robbing me of other valuable time. I'd MUCH rather sit around and work on cheesy creative projects than spend my life keeping up on the latest reality show or wasting away watching hours of TV reruns during the summer. But to REALLY answer your question about the green screen... uh... Don't use a green guitar when you're filming on a green screen if you plan on using scenery for the background.
Is anyone else shocked that there actually are women in Minnesota? How can we be sure they are not disguised sheep?
Welcome to the site! . Personally I thought you did a good job, harmless trash talk. Ignore MonstBlitz, he was eliminated in the sites version of Survivor and has been taking it out on other people ever since. Sore loser.
it was a bit corny but Ive seen far worse. Good job keeping it light and its a nice change of pace from people who can only post Miami Sucks or some such troglodyte cliche (I just wanted to use troglodyte in a phrase)
holy **** but that's the worst song Ive ever heard. even better thats its just before their annhilation before the bears
gotta say, from the posters that have been here, I kinda like the Vikings fans. You guys are pretty classy compared to the rest that usually show up. for what its worth i thought you were the best team last year but just self destructed with turnovers in the championship
Yup. I submitted the video to his blog. I'm sure it's not show material but I'm guessing he might get a kick out of it.
