I hope he involves himself more when the draft rolls around.

Agreed. White and Turner were projects a young team can't afford. Now that the big money free agent busts are gone in this uncapped year, the future is looking pretty good.

If Ross seriously tries to replace Ireland/Sparano when Parcells goes, and brings in Peterson or someone else, he's going to make a big mistake. The majority of the fans back this regime at this point, I think even if this team misses the playoffs, that the fans will still believe we are on the right track, which I believe we are. Making drastic changes like that, will make mr Ross not so famous in Miami.

Peterson has already denied any interest in Miami, stating that their current setup in the front office is not conducive to what he is looking for. He has stated that going back to the NFL would take an almost impossible setup to entice him back.

Of course, that is easy to say when no one is actually looking for you and corporate setups can change relatively quickly in this day and age. But I am willing to bet we don't see Carl Peterson in Miami...ever.

We're told the Dolphins are disappointed with receiver Brian Hartline; one official said he's not the same player as last year. They want more focus and consistency. Marlon Moore replaced Hartline on two series Sunday -- Hartline said it was to get Moore some game experience -- but Davone Bess and Moore will take time from Hartline if he doesn't play better.

    HAHAHAHAHA:lol:

    Sure.

I hope he really knows what the message is because I feel sorry for him if he is serious.

I was happy to see Moore get playing time and hope that he gets more chances to shine like he did in pre-season.

Hartline needs to step up. If not for Bess, it was like Marshall was the only WR we had out there.

So many were thinking he was abandoning or distancing himself from those guys. Never believed that. I am glad he's staying on and hope that Ross gives the regime at least one more year after this.

Hartline said that Moore took reps just to get reps. Bess I think said, no.

:sidelol: Uhhhh..... yeah..... and Leinart let Zona release him to give Anderson "some more game experience". Ouch! The pain in my side from laughter is hurting too much! :sidelol: I wonder who he thinks is buying this turd of an excuse.

So what Hart is saying is that he's dropping more balls than a baby nursery b/c he "feels compassion towards his fellow receivers"? <I'm not sure what smilie face to insert for this one>

Maybe we dumped Grove so we'd have some extra cash to throw at Vincent Jackson. :shifty:

Even he knows Carl Peterson will drop a cluster f on this organization and team quality.

    His move makes sense.

Ross doesn't care hes the owner he wants HIS guys it's his money and he will do what he wants. If this team does not make a playoff appearance this year this will happen...

Does not mean I think its right because its DEAD wrong but he will say 3-4 years is enough and we have no playoff team ill bring in my guys

    Why?

I think he's been nothing but positive thus far. You're taking an "unnamed source" who only said that Parcells "feared" something happening a little too far.

Ross has spent a ton of money, he's trying to bring a new energy to the stadium ( which worked by the way, no matter how silly the stuff may have seemed at the time), and he stays out of the football people's way/

He's a good owner. You could have Ralph Wilson or Mike Brown.

I like Sparano but I will not be satisfied with anything less than playoffs this year.

It does not take longer than 3 years to get a team back to the playoffs in today's NFL.

I wish we didn't have a murderous schedule...

I know Ross has yet to anything bad, but if he does get rid of this staff I'm going to be pissed. Everything I have ever read about Ross makes me pissed off. I really wish Wayne didn't leave... Or sell the team to this idiot.

No offense, but I hate when people use that as an excuse. If we`re not good enough to hang with the big boys then we dont deserve a playoff spot.
