I think two guys to watch this year will be Moore and Wallace. These undrafted youngsters are out to prove something and I think having Marshall for them to learn under could help speed up the process somewhat. Moore and Wallace finished 2nd and 3rd respecticely behind Marshall in rec yrds this preseason.

My only concern is will Henning call the plays. I know Henning is one of the offensive minds in the game but IMO at times his play calling is subject at best. Hopefully we will open it up a bit more this year.

4 days away I can't wait. We haven't beat Buffalo at home since 2003 it is time to break that streak. GO DOLPHINS!!

I really like Moore and think he will have a good year but im not quite sure if Wallace is ready to play witht the big boys. He has the talent i just think he needs to be groomed one or two more years

Shoot. For a second I thought this thread might have been pertaining to Kendall Langford finding that earring.

Yep. I think this will be an interesting dynamic to watch this year. I doubt that the 4th or 5th wide receivers will be having much impact if the playcalling is similar to the previous 2 years.

Did we ever dress 5 receivers for a game last year?

Maybe we'll see more multi-receiver sets with the relative lack of tight ends on the roster.

I like Roberto Wallace's game, Moore looks okay, but Wallace to my eyes offers more than Moore.

I looked back to find the answer to this one and it turns out we only dressed 5 WRs for 2 games.

However, we also didn't start activating 3 tight ends until the last 5 or 6 games, so it doesn't seem like we'll see much change in personnel groupings from last season. I'd wrongly assumed we had 3 active all year.

Based on that I'd say whoever is 5 on the depth chart (Wallace?) is not going to have much of an impact at all.

I looked at the posters name and thought it said FiremanED for a minute!

I like Moore, he will be better than Wallace.

I think Wallace next to Marshall could be a beautiful thing. Guy has good speed. Big. Tall. If we have Bess underneath drawing coverage and Fasano can get it going, it'd be sweet. I just wish we had Gresham or Aaron Hernandez.

i think you are exactly right on the Marshall the 'mentor' deal .... look back over the last 5+ years -- who exactly was a true mentor to our WRs ... Marshall is going to pay off largely for this organization .....

I agree with you, but doubt it will happen, this team will be run first. Many people have spoken how Henne would benefit from learning from Pennington, if preseason was a measuring stick he didn't learn anything from one of the best. Just to let you know Espn is picking Buffalo in the upset of the week picks.

Who give a mother $&@(#%(#* crap what ESPN is picking. Henne has looks better this preseason, we all knew he had a gun but he showed us some touch this preseason. He went through progressions more this preaseason instead of just dumping off. The guy looked better this preason that he did all last year. People need to quick freaking out, the guy has an amazing work ethic, leadership, he's now running the meetings with the OL and WR's like Pennington used to do.

Just one more thing about ESPN....do you know what those letters stand for??

FWIW, Hodge was considered Teish, and I seem to recall positive things being said about Eron Riley.

If this team is going anywhere this season, it must start with a win Sunday, end of story.
