http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/16704/how-nice-polite-a-rugged-servant-for-miami Ahh, little Lou Polite, like most Dolphins rarely receives any credit for how well he does his job, in 09 he led the way for Ricky to have a 1,000 yd season at 33.
I can't say enough how much I love that guy at fullback. How do you spell Money? L-o-u-s-a-k-a P-o-l-i-t-e. Really good article by the way.
I'm surprised that he only has one career TD. You would think that since he's so automatic on short runs that he would have gotten at least a few on the goal line.
I love lou, he's great. But this also says alot about the diversity we have in ronnie and ricky. Both are very physical but one is a very patient runner and the other is downhill fast. Thats why when theyre both on the field at the same time for us it gives opposing D's problems.
Tim sure knows how to find good content to write about when talking about a team. Jason COle, this is the type of information the reading fans want to know about. Lou is so valuable to making our running game complete. EDIT: i wouldn't trade Lou for any FB in the entire league. There isn't one who consistently gets any task done as well as he does.
In what regards? From whoever is taking the snap obviously Ronnie is more effective but in Rickys normal role in the wildcat of coming in motion he has been very effective. Thats a big part of why the wildcat works.
I think he meant it in terms of being the trigger man. The effectiveness of the WC went down once RB got hurt. The trigger man has to be more patient and Brown brings that. The WC is about waiting for the D to commit and then taking hole they don't cover. When RW is the trigger, his inclination is to take that first hole and take it quickly. On the other hand, the motion guy has to be good at getting to that edge and that's something RW excels at.
Yeah, thats basically what i just said. I figured thats what he meant but he said one had more success in the wildcat than the other.
I love Lou. He is great to watch and I love his hits. I love how Rex Ryan wanted a polite on his team so he drafted a FB this yr and he makes a few blocks and ""oh thats my boy I picked him, I wouldnt want to go against him" hey rex shut the **** up. I want to see Polite and conner go head up then we can mail back the rerst of Rex's pick back to him
Exactly, even though T Richardson led the way for Jones and Washington to have great seasons, Rexxy isn't very original. As for Lousaka, he represents what Ireland does the best in the AFCE, he finds oddball Free Agents who can come in and play from Day 1, for all the about the Pat White's, Irish knows how to mine for gems.
What a diamond in the rough Polite was. One of the best fullbacks in football and automatic in short yard situations.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite players on this team. If he plays like last year and still doesn't go to the Pro Bowl this year, it is rigged and should be shut down.
