With Rex running his mouth, he's just too confident.
This is what bugs me. And Lt will do fine and Sanchez.
    That Defense is freakin scary.
The Dolphins better prepare and Dan Henning cant hold Henne back and call crap plays. Nolan better have a plan.

What exactly is scary? Their defense is good, but we knew that already. Sanchez turns the ball over, which balances out whatever goal line work the team might accomplish.

Good team, not great, not scary.

Our team doesnt show our hand. Especially a new defensive scheme that the jets havent seen with our players yet. And on O we have a new weapon in Marshall so our team schemes r going to drastically different from what u see now. The Jets are blwing there load on Preseason bc they want to own NY. They are good but we beat them at OUR game, POWER

come on man, dont give me 1 star. For me the Jets are better and Miami is better then last season. But, Sanchez had 1 full season plus playoff experience. And to be honest I think Brian Schotty is a better caller then Henning. Just they have too much confidence and the team feeds off of Rex and his loudmouth.

go cry to your mommy then.

we were superior to the jest for decades. but come sunday, all the talent and all the talk goes out the window. the rivalry has a life of itself and strange things happen when we meet. i dont care if they're the 85 bears, and we're 09 lions...we always have a level playing field against the jests.

and besides, they are over-hyped and full of ****. they shouldnt scare anybody. sanchize will give away, probably 25% or more of their games.

The defense was #1 last year too. The Giants are no longer playing their starters and it's 13-10, not that scary.

The Jets kind of remind me of the Dolphins of the late 90s/early 00s. They had a dominant defense too. Remember when there were 9 pro bowlers and no playoffs? That was fun! I'd rather have a well balanced team.

not scared for a team we swept and backed into the playoffs. If it wasnt for a couple of bad play calling by henning and the refs we would beat easily the two superbowl teams (saints and indy).

They played their starters longer and still lost, their offense does not scare me. And the Giants D isn't THAT good. And the Jets were trying harder, I know it's only pre-season, but they played it like a regular season game the entire 1st half.

For the record to the football powers-that-be, who seemed to really enjoy screwing with the Dolphins last decade, we're not trying to jinx anything!

Well, if anyone would be getting jinxed, it would be the Jets. I mean what coach signs a bus as super bowl champs?

And that was with some complete ineptitude from the Giants coaching staff...remember their only TD was against a completely confused transition on defense (receiver was left uncovered).

Scary old and predictable.....bank this, Sanchez having LT is going to be a negative.....he cant run anymore, thats obvious, so when he comes out of the backfield, you know it is a pass, because of the myth that LT is still the #1 fantasy option LT that Gruden was drooling over all game last night. Sanchez is going to force the ball to him in the flats or 5 yards out, and it will get blown up or intercepted...he will go to the well too much, and the only way you get hurt by that is if you dont have good cover LB....

Last time I checked he might have one of the best.....

I, for one, am not at all scared of the Jets. Their primary starters are careless, old, uncommitted and injury prone. And their team is the poster child for "no depth".

No need to blast the guy (some of you). That ain't what we're about here.

The Jets certainly are talented. And their coach is brash and cocky. He's also an elite defensive mind.

But all that talent and talk got them how many wins against us last year? They had more talent and the #1 defense and our pedestrian offense put 413 yards on them in the first meeting. They had Darrelle Revis and Ginn beat him for a 53-yard TD. They had that scary pass rush and ballhawking secondary, and Chad Henne went 20/26 in his second NFL start, beating the blitz and making clutch throws in the fourth quarter.
They locked our offense down in the second game, and we come thru with three non-offensive touchdowns and a timely sack to win the game.

Dude I go into every game worried because I have no control over what happens in the game. But it doesn't matter when the pads get strapped on. We were better than the Jets for a long time, and that didn't stop them from beating us 8 straight times. They've been more talented than us the past few years, and yet we've won the last three and lost the fourth on the last play.

They should be good this year. But every year you have playoff teams crash back to earth. We'll see.

They scare me on Defense which we already knew that Rex was
one of the best Defensive minds in the game. He took over a team with some talent and Free Agent Linebackers he knew from Baltimore that knew his system. Hats off to him. He is Brash, Bigmouth, and Players like playing for him. I do think there Offense will be better. Miami upgraded and got Mike Nolan
which is another Defensive Minds in the game. We are young on Defense.
And Henne will be better along with Brandon. I would love to sweep the jets again, but at the sametime I do not want them in the Playoffs.

It's a good thing NFL franchises aren't as afraid of Rex Ryan's big fat mouth as some of us fans seem to be. He's a blowhard. All show. Crying, swearing, running his mouth. But when it comes to the product on the field they will underwhelm again.

    F*** the jets

I have no problem admitting that the Jets are a good team. They squeaked into the playoffs last year but then went on a run. Good team yes..Great...far far from it. They are so over-hyped by the NY Media and of course by thier own coach. If thats how they want to go into the season..so be it...but you better back it up.

I learned a lesson a long time ago...I never ever worried about the big guy with the big mouth telling me how great he was and how tough he was...dime a dozen who normally run for the hills when punched in the mouth or when things don't go thier way. The guy that you have to worry about is the guy in the corner...that quiet guy...who seems to be taking it all in and has that look that he knows something that noone else knows...those are the guys you stay away from...they are the dangerous ones
