http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/#tp Now, I've liked Roberto Wallace (if you listen to his MDC interview he sounds like "Cerrano" from Major League) as his size and speed mix 6'5 and 4.4 is outstanding and I liked his high level soccer background, but I prefer RGM as he can play slot or return kicks and run in the WC if needed. This dude is a keeper, if folks are suspicious, there is a reason why the Dolphins media guide lists him at 6-1 195...if another GM was fishing around for a Wr a 6-1 195 guy who was not productive in college would not peak your interest if he were on the practice squad..
He's listed as 6'4" 225 on the miami dolphins home site, so I'm not sure why the media guide would be different. Marlon Moore is 6'0 190, maybe they got the 2 mixed up in the guide.
We need this guy to step up! I keep saying it... If he shows growth and somehow earns the #5 spot he would be a HUGE addition, not to mention scary proposition to defend! I would MUCH MUCH rather have this guy than RGM. Another Bess is exactly what we DON'T need! And I will say again too that I'd also prefer Cam over Bess.
So, because the QB was too stupid to throw to the speedy 6'4" target who catches everything the kid gets downgraded and goes undrafted? Bad job by personnel people.
Heard this dude on the radio with Big O. He's from Panama and is relatively new to football. Played soccer semi-professionally before trying out football. Was given a chance to try out kicking for his college football team(SD State) and then the coaches had him try out for WR. Sounds like he has good character and seems hungry for a spot on this team.
I don't think other teams shop for players off of a media guide. Chances are probably good that any team interested in him has their own scouting files at the ready.

I saw a lot of his games (SDSU alum), and he really was an enigma. Passes the eye test absolutely but just didn't catch a lot of balls. He did have a couple of good wideouts in front of him though, especially Vincent Brown, who is really good. Brown got hurt around halfway through the season last year, and that's when Roberto started to pick it up.
Wallace is another one I hope doesn't turn into Pat Turner 2.0, it would really bode well for our long term future if either of those two could step up their game and give us a big & fast WR opposite Marshall. How would teams defend that?
Right now Big O has been told from people inside the building that Marlon Moore is the #5 WR on the roster. I don't know about saying that Wallace "catches everything thrown his way". Supposedly he's got hand issues.
We'll see, Wallace just has more upside than Moore, and imho when the lights come on Wallace will outplay Moore..the Qb's trust him in camp.
