I don't see why you say Ronnie is on a two year comeback timetable. ACL surgeries have become much easier to fix and recover from as of late. Many players recover in less than a year. Complete knee reconstruction like the one Culpepper had is more of a two year deal, but ACL injuries aren't what they used to be. Look at Braylon Edwards. He tore his ACL late in his rookie year (and didn't have surgery until Jan. of 2006) and put up over 800 yards in his second season starting every game on a poor team. And now is having a monster season in his third year, much less than two years removed from his surgery.

No, he isn't. The typical recovery time for a clean ACL tear is 9-12 months. Furthermore, you have VIP access. Read KB's posts.

We do need playmakers on offense. That's why we should draft Fred Davis.

So if we use Edwards as the model, Ronnie won't be 100% until 09...

No. Edwards seemed to be pretty close to 100% if not at it when he was racking up 884 yards and 6 TD's in his first full season in the NFL with Charlie Frye at QB. In fact in week 2 (just months from surgery) he had 110 yards and followed it up with 116 and a TD in week 3. He is having a monster year now because he is developing as a player in his 3rd year and has a good QB throwing him the ball.

but the other teams are on there way up and you cant fix everything at once. start were it gives you the best chace to win (O LINE, DLINE DB) IMO should be first three picks...Chris long DE...jeff otah OT, dwight lowery CB. chris long especially if we trade jason taylor. we then if we get a second for taylor could look at Fred Davis TE or DT or LB...
i would at least be a team that was in the hunt for the next few teams instead of drafting people that arent helping the team very much AKA "the sexy pick". fix the line and beck will look better, ronnie will look better and the WR will look better...oh ya the D will look better to cuz the will be more rested
