Well, you have to work with you got. My bad, it was Omark projecting. The injuries are beginning to take their toll, they were down to 3 Tackles and 7 Cb's today in practice.
Alright, once again the Roster is shuffled, Johnson was waived and Feinga signed, but with Oglesby going on the IR that means..there is another roster slot open. I'd guess they are waiting for Will Allen to come back from the doctor, if it is bad news I'd guess we wind up signing Walker?
Now THAT is paper thin at Cb, after Smith, Davis, Jason Allen, it is mix of untested late round picks and UDFA's and prior washouts. Hm..where is Eric Greene playing this year?
if we're going off last year's performances than neither thigpen nor white are reliable starters. now if reports are true, a big if, and white is playing better this camp (over the last week) and thigpen is still playing the way he was two years ago throwing picks galore then it becomes a bit intriguing as to who you would keep. if you believe thigpen has plateued and for whatever reason cant seem to improve, then white might be the better choice to keep even if he is still below thigpen in terms of current effectiveness. the decision would rest on whether pat white can keep improving to the point where one day soon he becomes better than thigpen. if thigpen is flatlining then the bar isnt set too high
Not that well, lol. I wanted him as well. I thought Kruger and Smith would have been a good combo to start the draft. We'll see it was only Paul's first year but I don't think he did anything that stood out.
He had one big play, a Int I think, but overall Kruger did not play very much last season. Sintim had a hammy issue or some other injury.
Hmm maybe there is a reason Parcells/Ireland didn't jump for the OLB's the past couple years....until Misi came along. Everyone kept saying over and over how Miami would take one of those OLB's cause of Parcells..and really surprised most by waiting till the 3rd draft. Then taking one finally....but an odd choice kinda due to the spots Misi has played all this time.
Loadholt was my 2nd choice behind Barwin...... and then Louis Vasquez in the 3rd-- badly wanted that beast!!
I wrote last year that the team peaked at a certain point in training camp, and that's why we bleeped the bed against atlanta.. From watching every interview I just felt that the team was spent going into that game. Probably wrong but its what came to mind.
I suspect we will see heavy doses of Lexxy and Tristan Davis and Rolly Lumbala this Saturday. Which is cool with me as I want to see what Tristan and Lumbala can do. Lexxy and Rolly should be a heck of a load for the Bucs to deal with..
Hopefully it was just to clean out some lose garbage ... still don't like it anymore then you do Pads PS; Thanks for posting all these tweats & stuff ... I dont get to spend nearly as much time as I'd like to on here but I been hitting your posted tweats as often as possible. That thanks go to anyone else that has posted some stuff in Pad's threads too!
Imho, Mike B is right about this I think that is what is happening, or probably will happen as it makes sense for Henne/Thiggy/Penny to use the Reps and playing time. Go B-Rabbit.
While that makes the most sense, I do not see anyone giving up anything for White. He makes the team or gets cut in my eyes. As another team, I would want Thigpen more than White, at least he has shown he can move a team.
Only way you trade White is if you're giving up on the wildcat/PatCat completely. If he shows value why would you move him when he was a second rounder a year ago. You SAW his potential and used a high pick on him, why trade him for less when that talent shows through?
The only way is that after having your hands on him for a year, you determine that your previous evaluation was wrong and that there is no way the player will be a success. I don't think that's the case with White though. I really hope we don't trade him. I don't know if I can take losing White and Ginn in one offseason
